Other than the usual sarcastic answers most get around here... what other reason would a topic that should involve the TW community as a whole be closed and off limits to most?

I was enjoying reading what should/could/will supposedly happen to this forum concerning the upcoming graphical version of TW as early as last night (4-10).. now I am blocked from the topic..    why?

Depends. Perhaps it's gotten out of hand? Or in the case of the one in the scripts&helpers area, the thread was off-topic and future replies weren't heading back there.

Humm, Me thinks gastopo has moved in, and we ALL as a community (family) even Baited, and Zen, need to Vote with our feet and find Forum we ALL can move to, and let the TWT have a Empty Fourm to do as they please with.
and keep the Community together as a whole somewhere eles. I belive Now that John Pritchett has thrown us to the wolfs and the 4 winds.

I'm not sure what's going on. I won't have time to really get involved in this stuff until next week. But I can tell you that nothing significant is going to happen without my permission, and I don't intend to do anything to upset this community.

I've actually been pushing for a way to turn the control of the forum over entirely to a group of people from the community, to allow the community to have control over the site, decide who admins, what areas are supported, etc. I've talked to Earth and Vulcan about it, and hopefully something will happen before too long. I don't intend to take over this site personally, or to have someone outside the community take it over.

That's my agenda as I work with Sylien on how to proceed here.

Come on Zilla  the twt group dont have any access to this server that vulcan hosts...Any topic deleted/moved/restricted would have to be done by one of our current admins/mods. I'll try to figure out what the heck is up.

asked Zen to look into it, and he was stumped too, said the topic was there, go into it, i did and showed him the cant get in. and sent him the screen shot, he was stumped, it was changed and he said he or no one he knew did it????? and the topic is still gone????

Not sure what is up with it, but every time I posted in the thread I had code showing up in the quote - deleted some of it. I also saw that the message at the top appeared corrupted. I think my last post was that I would like to see some type of private message notification on the site. (after I posted that I checked private messages which I never do - found one from Space Ghost in regard to the 1st turn game and one from Trader Vic -- wasn't ignoring you guys, just don't check PMs).
