As was posted in the above notice the noms should have closed on the 9th. I had stated i would do part 1 of the awards process but part 2 and 3 was up to the rest of the EIS Admin Team but as real life issues have been affecting all of us, it was not done so this post is to notify the community that the Nominations will extend till 6 pm on the 17th of Feb.
At that time the topics will be closed, and the counting will begin. As i am going to be doing the counting i would like afew of the members of the community to also do there own counts so that we dont have any accusations.
I will have the polls ready by Wednesday 21st of Feb.
they will run for 7 days then close for final counting.
I am sorry for any inconvenience.
Thank you for your time.

Also as a side note anyone wishing to opt out of these
awards please post your name in this thread before the
28th of Feb, or suffer with any nomination the community chooses to bestow upon you.
Haveing spoken to any other admin or mod will not be enough to opt out of the award as im the one haveing to finish them and this is the only way i will accept the opting out.

do you want us to post again if we've already done so elsewhere?
If so, here's mine, and Traitor's too, he's out of town for the weekend, so can't re-post himself.

I just want to remind you that according to the rules posted it takes two nominations to be listed in the vote.

You know Zen, I realize that you may or may not like the nature of the post you replied too, but your reply makes the assumption that you are above everyone else.  You made the rules so you can't be wrong is the way I read it.  Maybe I took it the wrong way, but I don't think so.  This type of reaction is probably why you aren't very well liked by the TW community, and why no one wants to be asssociated with the TW awards this year.  It's not that I dislike you, it's just that I'm iinsulted by your manorism sometimes.

Yep you took it wrong, infact it was mearly a reply to the post above it reminding me of the non 2nding rule i wrote.
And thank you for enlightining me about weither im liked or not, such a fitting post for a non smack topic. : )

It looks like UTW may win by default.  Everyone else seems to be dropping out.  lol

Well if anyone wants to know, Zen stepped up for me, when I was having major family issues. And still am, and I am greatful for that, I will try to work on the counting of the noms too, and hope others on the community will too, and send their results to me and Zen to compare notes with, this way we will have a fair and accurate count, and sorry for all the drama associated with this years Awards.

I sympathize with you Vulcan. I know exactly what you are going through, and where you will be heading down next.

I did not ask to be withdrawn due to any drama here. I don't pay attention to the drama. I asked to be removed because I do not host my site, or put the work into both Outpost-4 TradeWars or TradeWars Academy to be recognized for any award. I do it to help players, SysOps, and to give something to the Community. If people don't like my site, that's their choice. I'm in this for the players, not for a pat on my back or a "great job" award. I will continue to run Outpost-4 TradeWars/TradeWars Academy for a long time, and an award or recognition will not change that focus. I'm not saying anything negative about the awards. For us here, it's not the award, but the chance to help someone and that can't be beat with any award.
