So I know some people think they are a joke while others don't like them, so lets not start a flame about them, I am just curious if anyone has thought about hosting them this year or maby EIS host them with these new forums? If they are done, I would like to see them done way before march like last year so its actually about the 06 year.
Just a thought...

Agreed, we may setup a special area on the forum for the voting and when all is done, maybe a poll setup for the winners to be chosen out of the nominated, I will get with the other mods and all on what we want to do. Or I can open up the voting forum on my server again for it all. We will try to get this thing going a lot earlier this time so the things will fall into the right year no matter what. And Bait is right, we need to get this rolling early, so we don't get the fiasco as last year, I may open up a series of threads for nominations in this forum and all cast a nomination in it, but be advised to cast only one nomination, cause I can monitor the IP addys on my server to know if someone is making more than one nomination, unlike how it went last year, I can set things up on my server to get the ip info on the posters either here or on my voting forum. And any unauthorized multiple noms will be deleted except for the initial nomination. So if you have multiple players from the same IP we will have to work out a plan for the voting, maybe have to get with the other mods on how we will monitor this.

That is a given Hiro, after the mess from last year, only the servers that held a major tourney that involves the community as a whole, qualifies.

Just a bump.... Hopefully someone will host the awards before we get too far into '07.

Not in TW it doesn't.
And back to the original Arguement:
BOO TO THE TW AWARDS!!!!!!!(and by that I make no reference to SG.)
Waste of community effort to publicise absolutely nothing. Better that community time spent promoting games with a large draw of players.

I will be working on the TW Awards prolly this weekend for the the forum, and start off with nomination threads. cause I can see IP's when I set it up for the thread, I can monitor for misuse of the nominations, also I think I can set the thread up for only one post per IP, I will have to look into it.
