Rev's Edits, Game A at silverwingstwgs.com, the first game of our Turns Games Series, is open for anyone wishing to run ztm ahead of game.

All user accounts have been set and the game is closed to signed up players only. The game password is "turngame", you must use this to log into the game. You may change your password to a new one, however, since the game will be reset to the archived game (to prevent aging), I believe the game password will be in effect at bang time tomorrow. Not positive about that

This is not a good idea, I am struggling to be polite.

Count me out of the game. I aplologise to those who ended up with me on their corp.

I don't know if anyone else cares, but sounds good to me, if Kav don't want to play and doom does, sounds cool if he takes his place, but once again I don't care either way, my corp is gonna win anyways no matter who plays

k, while I am not sure of your reason, I always respect someone's decision. It is a shame, IMHO, that you are not going to play, because I was looking forward to seeing you in the game. I've never played against/with you before, but have come to respect you based on a lot of your posts.

I realize this is not the "normal" way that things may be done, however with this group of people I don't foresee any problems or anyone trying to gain an advantage. The players, as I know them, are all decent people as well as being some of the better players around. Maybe I am naive <sp> in this respect, but everyone seemed to be looking forward to this and are trying to make sure that everything goes well.

We have the opportunity to have a series of games w/o the drama associated with some of the previous games, but we have to trust one another and I realize that there may be baggage out there in that respect.

The way things are at present, no one has any more of an advantage/disadvantge than anyone else. I trust the sysOp and players.... that is enough for me.

I request that Kane be permitted to take my slot. He was one of the earliest signers.

Well, 4 users online including myself, and my ZTM is at a dead stop. Hope this isn't an indicator of what happens when everyone logs in tonight.

whoa... these are the wrong edits. this is totally my fault - i thought coastgames and my website had the latest version of revstock available, but they don't. there are two versions 1.0 and 2.0 - and i've added nice ansis to the game and dramatically changed the ships. i've been away so long that i thought it was publicly available, but i think i am the only one with the right version. i wonder if we could get a rebang with the right edits and the same random seed? you can download it here.

just to give you a feel for the changes:

cruiser 75k figs, twarp, 8xport, 1.8 offensive, photons
frigate 100 shields, 2 tpw, 5000 figs
cfs 60k figs, 3tpw, 1.8 def odds
tanker 3tpw 1.0 off odds. 0.4 def
iss 80k figs 3tpw
gunboat 30k figs 2 tpw 15xport
interdictor 120k figs

i didn't compare the planet edits - some of those may have changed also.

EDIT : fyi i made the ship edit changes because there were fundamental balance issues in revstock 1.0. anyone who has played revstock on my server will find issues with the 1.0 version.

If the game is rebanged, all the accounts would have to be entered one by one again.   I am leaving this afternnon and won't have time to do it.  So either someone else will have to do it, or the game will have to pushed back.  I can furnish the random seed number if someone else wants to set it up and send the game to me as a archived game.

Im just throwing this out there.. im fine with pushing it back...

It seems like a few corps might be rushed and since we are looking for a good game why not get more organized? Plus we are looking at possible issues with the server and the op will be out of town.. I think pushing back a few days would be in best interest of game to get these things squared away.

Just throwing it out there..
We are set to play tonight as well!
