I have a question for you
you said:
"Dont wish to play against my regular corpies for reasons that should be selfevident."
The only thing I can come up with is you feel you are the weaklink in the corp and fear having to rely on your own skill to win a game rather than just breezing through by the skill of the team you are on (I have no idea who your regular corpies are, or if you are xide reborn or not, this is just the conclusion I came to when I read that, and, since you posted in the outfit private forums that you wanted to kill more outfit people, I figured I'd call you out)
I'm just wondering what you meant by that.
From my experience, when you corp with new people, it gives you the opportunity not only to learn new tricks (and more about the tricks those people do when you are against them) but also it gives new players the chance to learn and become better.
I mean, if no one ever corped with new people, how would we ever get new people to stay?
Hell, some of the most fun in tradewars that i've ever had, is playing against my "regular corpies"
Give it a whirl, give em a pod, and laugh at them for the next couple weeks how you pwnd them

Much of what you say is correct..well said. However we are still in the team building process and are working toward the goal of providing good comp to other older and established corps for future tourneys etc. That being said we are looking to particiapate in turns games as a team where we will get good comp so we can improve our skills as a team. Playing with new peeps provides new strats and styles as well as a fresh insight so the inclusion of others in our team for games is always welcome as well.

Excellent, so I should strike now! Bwahah!
I once knew a parrothead, though she didn't play under the name parrothead...
I was kindly informed as to what a parrothead was by a very knowledgable deadhead.
I miss that good ole deadhead, I hope the neocons didn't get him, i'd be very sad.
But on a serious note, are there really any established corps out there anymore? Rumors I've heard (which may be old) are that there really are no "set" corps around anymore.

I think this is an interesting subject, Both of the corpies I usually play against are in this, chances are I won't be corped with them. Now the worst part is, they know my tatics, they know how I play and vice versa, so playing against them I think should be tough as I will have to think out side my normal box to beat them. I think playing against ur usual people can be tough and rewarding. Espessaly if I can a chance to SD one or both of them. That would put a huge smile on my face. And I know if they do that to me I will get a im from them very quickly....

Not that I am aware of. I know I have filled in with some semi-established corps and that seems to be the way it is now. 2-3 players that play together and then the ad-hoc members that are picked up during a game or who are IM'ed to join.

There have been a number of parrotheads who were also TW players. This one has yet to show me he's other than an imposter....I mean, not a single good Buffett quote from him in any posts.
Intrepid and I used to finish lines on fed, sharkey had a parrrothead page on his web site and I had never even heard of a few songs that Sarducci knows.
Oh how I miss Trep, but that's just the way it goes cause "Life Is Just a Tire Swing" down around Biloxi.
