I dont know, what would be the advantage of permitting dupes? Wouldnt it be easier to make it 1 man corps?

I'd be interested in playing. I like chess and the game sounds interesting. Agree with the other post about dupes. Not too sure if that would be a good idea but I'd play either way.

Thats simply becuase neither of you have ever played Dupe Chess. You can bring 5 players, or 1. It allows you to either play the game as a normal team, or how you would play if all the players were you. Lots of fun.

yes dupe chess is alot of fun and allows for dupes.. its part of the game.

I would be up for that but where do we stand on big game 2007? I think we should put all our efforts into organizing a good game for that...

Dupes allow players to run bots - gridding solo is dangerous at best esp in a turn game and a botted dupe running saveme can, well, save you.

You can bot your dupes to do about anything you want or simply switch screens and fire up another script.

I don't think dupes are as effective as having real players that can concentrate on specific tasks (provided skill levels are approx equal).

Well that is true Ender. I have not played, but always willing to try something new.
