Hello to my friends in the TW Community;

I hope your Christmas was well for you and your family. I just returned this evening 1830 PST from a long 12 hour drive from Edmonton, AB to BC. Needless to say, it was a great week with my parents. They got to have their first Christmas with both the grandkids, and it's been 10 years since I had a Christmas with them.

Well now that holidays are over, I just need some sleep and then I'll be back on the swing of things. In any event, just thought I'd say hello, and wish you all a Happy New Year.

You take the Kicking horse or the #1?

I love the drive between Banff and Golden on the #1, its so Darn beautiful. no matter what time of year it is.

My best experience through that run though was taking the train back in the late 80's when I was really young.

God I love BC.

No this trip was Hwy 5 to the Yellowhead (Hwy 16) to Jasper. But I have been both on the Crowsnest to Calgary and the Canyon. Either way, I love the drive. Sariss got some nice pics of the mountains. If you like I can e-mail them to you.

Lol we use to take either the train or Greyhound from AB to BC to visit my grandparents when we were young.
