If it's not to late for you already, beware! Microsoft is sending out the update to IE7. For those of you that have autoupdate enabled you well be upgraded, but IE7 does not support telnet. If you use IE6 to access games, you do not want to upgrade. Turn off your autoupdates, or avoid upgrading to IE7.

There's a reghack you can download that will disable the install of IE7. I'd recommend that for people who don't want that, or who still can't bring themselves to use Firefox.

A simple fix just run on over to getfirefox.com and download that bad smokin' mo fo! and set it to be your default from now on! Then you can pimp the net 24/7 on platinum dubs and that BGIE dude can go suck on your tailpipes, cause you will be to much to busy mackin' to even worry about that hip cats shim shamming from now on! You dig?

A quicke look at the "Active users list" showed the following OS and browser combinations. I am surprised to see IE 2 out there. Has to be someone browsing from work I would think. Mine is the "Opera" browser. I decided to take a look at it a couple of weeks or so ago and it takes a little getting used to and setting up on the preferances. Opera seems to have an issue with links that contain an .exe for DL.

Windows XP     Opera
Windows XP     Mozilla Firefox
Windows NT 4     Microsoft IE 5
Windows NT 4     Microsoft IE 2
Windows NT 4     Microsoft IE 2

yeah and the older version will be buggy from it too, so watch out for crashes and so forth.

I use Maxthon, and Firefox on my systems. And IE6 when necessary, but don't use it too often.

I"ve been trying the Maxthon, not bad, still working out the settings. I've used Firefox as well. My laptop, and main TW gameing computer has only had IE6 on it to keep from filling it up with software, but after IE7 got installed in it, and I realized it wouldn't work with TW, I installed Maxthon to try it out. Like I said, not bad.

Thats funny, I had been putting FF on the computers at work, since then I have turned a few coworkers onto it, they have commented how much they enjoy using FF compared to IE, and a few have even made it their default at home as well... So I  figure that I have done my part in helping others to spend more time enjoying the net and less time ranting about IE. (One of them is even a WoW slitzer!) But I figured WTH, right!

You mean there are people who still want to use IE7 with the big blunder on the telnet, I saw the link on a few colleges for the telnet registry entries, and still won't go to IE7 because MS thinks it better that we don't have a telnet connection, I hate it when the software manufacturer thinks things like that for me, instead of letting me make that decision on my own.

IE is still about 60-70% of browsers... only about 40% on gaming boards though
