 Traitors CitKilla got me whacked

well here are the caps.. Lonestar should of been dead about 10 times, instead the citkilla eventually warped me out of sector into his cannon and i died..

Traitor is a brilliant scripter but im going back to oz citkilla.

Btw Prnd321 is lonestar.

as you can see it was saying NO to attacking the person it should have been then pressed Y and brought up my navpoint and the 25000 which was my fig wave came next... blah..

at first i was giving lonestar credit for a brilliant kill but it turns out he was reckless and should be dead.. oh well cya tomorrow.

Let me add that this wasnt a rip against lonestar.. he is a good player and was only being reckless because the game is getting kind of boring and he was trying to create some action.. still this was disapointing hehe..

Stocky's road back to tw has been bumpy so far but I am glad im shaking the rust off for big game..

any word on that yet?

There is also a  known bug to this script, one that Traitor himself pointed out when he posted it.  It's the same problem with oz's...

Was his ship personal?

Did you have any other scripts running? Or auto response thingies from ZOC or something similar?

It's likely just from reading the small bit you posted that you would have had the same problem running Oz's script. Or have you never died running Oz's? I can show you several ways to die running his that WON'T work on mine. Anyway, I guess I should have been more explicit when I said it might screw up your nav points, and point out that when it screws up your nav points, it also means that it's not attacking.

To awnser your question, no i have never died using oz citkilla, but perhaps i have just gotten lucky. I figured this was a new script that wasnt bug proof so i wanted to let people know..   I am sorry that i didnt know you had stated that when you released it.   I meant no disrespect to you trait as we are good buds and all, and heck everyone knows you are one of the top three scripters to ever play this game.... if not the best.

btw i keep missing you on icq.. i will drop you an email to catch up..

All very good questions --though the answers were Yep, Yep, and Nope; I think his corpie was in sector at the moment of the SZN*; just a guess. 
I wonder if anyone besides me has read between the lines.. hehe..  analyzing Traitor's response would make for a great Scripting Discussion.

I got a few more questions for Stockton, but the quickest way to answer would be for Stockie to post the results of the initial scan.

I'm betting that the answer lies in that initial scan.

basically, the script scans the sector, figures out what's in there and then builds a macro on the fly. It then sends that macro 5 times. (Why 5? Based on my experience. YMMV) Then it checks the sector again.

If, during that time, the contents of the sector change, then it's quite possible that it will miss.

And Stockton,
Yes, you have been lucky. My script is designed for speed, not safety. However, the reason I re-wrote Oz's script was because it got me killed in a stupid way. I fixed that problem with his script and for fun, I also sped it up. Both scripts have their flaws. I think Sing did a good job of pointing them out in the thread where I originally introduced the script.

And I took no offense.
