I tested about 1/2 dozen times over about 5 minutes and hit from 137 to 160.

a lot of the ping problems don't have anything to do with the server, it has to do with the routes the isp makes for a connection, and that can change even while connected. and thus cause bad lag, not due to the server. But thru the net.

Just thought all should know, this issue is a long and old one. laff

I even have bad lag times on the online server I have thru the isp I use sometimes when connection to the admin port to work on games, and on the rdp connection as well.

FWIW, I use a Motorola wireless cable modem gateway and for some reason it likes to put servers on its blacklist w/o any intervention from me. Just thought I would let people know of this in the event they are not able to connect to a server, but others are connecting.

I am about ready to pitch cable in favor of DSL because my pings everywhere are almost unplayable. Cox is the ISP I have.
