The following is a description of our OCSBot for the Academy OCS TWGS. Thank you Promethius for helping to get this underway.

Help for OCSBot:

This is the Help file for the OCSBot. In this file you will have
instructions on how to use the Bot.

Introduction:

This BOT will be available to player and provide tutorials on
topics they choose. The Bot runs in Observer Mode, meaning it
will not attack, defend, etc.

Players activate the BOT via a message on FedComm (ex:"ocsbot").
When received, the BOT replies with a message, instructing the
player what SS channel to set. Player then types "ocsbot" on SS
and receives a list of info, commands, etc. When a player is
completed with the BOT, it will just sit in space waiting until
the next time it is needed.

BOT Menu:

The Bot Menu is structured with various components for players
to access. It looks like the following example:

To use choice #2, player would type on SS: "ocsbot 2" and the
bot would display choice #2, which is TradeWarsTerms 1 A-M.
If they want choice #6, then its "ocsbot 6", etc. Content is
being created daily for the Bot database.

There is a OCSBot for each game slot.

So there it is in a nutshell. An online Bot to help new players learn the dynamics of the game, and sections will be posted for the more skilled players.
