I'd like to find the most recent posts first in the forums without having to dig to page 3 or 4. Is there a way to set my settings here so that the order is reversed and the most recent posts come up on page 1? If not, is there a way to get that option in the (near) future? Also, what is this software that people are using for forums on these pages. I note that a lot of these TW pages look much the same, and am interested in setting up a forum area on my site when I get it going, and would like to know what is used as a norm here. Thanks again! |

http://www.tw-attac.com/TWForum/active.asp Has the active, most recent msgs. Most recent are obviously last on the list. Forums are easy, this is an ASP-based forum. Vulcan's uses phpBB and was pretty straight-forward to setup. |

I know how to get the current active messages, what I want to do is turn them around, so the most recent posts are first to come up in the thread. So that the most recent post is on page 1 instead of page 3 |

Currently, I don’t believe that is possible, that would sort of be like reading a book from back to front, so with that in mind it is somewhat silly to write a process for sorting messages that way. |

I don't know. I usually go to the book store and read the last chapter in the book. If it's any good I then buy the book |

Unless, you might have read all the messages, and get tired of having to look to the back cover to find the new info [;)] I'll live with it I guess. Just like having the ability on my computer to re-sort messages, like I do in my email inbox. |

It's lame, but you can hit the "Reply to Topic" icon at the far right of a given thread to bring up the last 25 posts in reverse order. +EP+ |

Yep, that's what I'm looking for, but wish I didn't have to reply to do so |
