How is it determined what kind of planet you get when you blow a p-torp? Is it random or are certain planets harder to get to pop up? I just busted 28 planets and did not get the type that I wanted. Shouldn't even 1 have popped up in 28 since there are only 6 types of planets? I got several of EVERY kind except an O. How freakin' frustrating. Killian |

Make that 36. 36 planets and not even 1 O? BIG waste of money. |

Try filling the sector with planets and THEN start popping them, replacing them when you get the type you're interested in. If it's a gold planet, that seems to be the best way to do it. |

The Oceanic planet is the hardest planet to get in a default game. however if as Oso said you fill the sector to its max capacity and work backwards up the list you will have a better chance of getting it as the odds are not based on 1:1 planet generating, but instead on if the sector is full of planets or not. Additionaly, most Sysops build gold planets off a similar planet type. If instead they where to start with the oceanic and modify the 1st new planet off that, then the 2nd new planet type off the 1st one etc.. then the gold planets become increasingly harder to produce. |

i'm a little rusty on this, but if i recall correctly, there are 7 stock planets - you can tedit them, but you can't remove them from the game. gold planets are any planets in addition to those 7 types. gold planets are more likely to be produced once a sector is overloaded. |

Any Planet type can be deleated from the database, thus from the twgs its self and then it becomes unavaliable to players. |

the only reason i know that is because in a few of my edits i wanted to have just one planet possible. my solution? make the 7 stock planets identical. lame, but it works. |

That could mess with your head. All 7 planets, same type, but given numbers. Dude, I got a 3. I have a 7...they're all the same. The key is not to tell anyone. |
