Alright i'ma start off as...Owen i love your server bro....But What Happened Tonight In Game C...Was Completely WACK....I Got Disconnected Intentionly Off Your Server 4 Times In A Row When I was Trying To Fire A Photon To Invading Corp 2...Aka ZeroCool...Sorry Man...if You Got my ICQS...I Obsolutely Love Your Server I Played There For 4 Weeks Now Under Login Merlin...Aka -={ Eminem }=-....Man Sorry But I Dunno Whats Going On or Who You Give Access To Your Server...but man cmoooonnnnn....please...Your Servers AWESOME...I Even Told Sage To Cut The Rob Delay And Turn Down The Comands Per Second in Game G...But Yea I Know Nothing...Course yea....noone likes me anyways...even tho i'm trying to help lmfao :(

Just a caveat, you can't change the commands per second on a game to game basis. Its server wide setting. Would be nice if you could though.

I agree Vader it would be nice, I also told them about the command cycles per turn setting and told them to set it to about 30.

They had it set to unlimited, and they were complaining of server lag due to some of the cashing scripts, and set a delay for the server to reduce the lag, I let them know the delay will not help, that they have to set the commands per cycle to something other than unlimited to help with the lag, cause some of the more intensive scripts can hit way more than the others can and will lag the server.

Ever since I went to the 30 commands per cycle, the lag problem went away.

it is the number of commands you can either type or a helper or script will be allowed per second, if you have the cycles set for 1 second, obviously people would have a hard time typing 30 commands a second, but good scripts can do it easily and then some, some of the more intensive scripts can rip out commands so fast they can get to over a hundred per second, and if a few of these run they can bog down a server. so the solution to this is take the commands per second from unlimited to a set number to reduce the load on the server and stabilize the game and reduce the lag caused from so many commands going thru at once.
