I am now working on the TW Awards winners, and have this question for all, On the close votes I may post a run off for them, but need to know if the closeness should be within 1 vote or 2? The ties are a given. Yes I am finally finished moving in the new place!!!!!!!!!! I would say 10% margin, which makes it dependant on the number of voters. If after the run-off the margin is still within 10%, then call it a tie.

I'd say within 1 vote. And if the run-off is tied, so be it.

I wouldn't bother with a run off - post the top 2-3 for the category. Post ties as such and keep on going......

I like Prome's too. #1 and #2, and sometimes #3, are all pretty impressive. I mean the list was distilled down as it is and getting people to vote a 2nd time will end up favoring people w/ the biggest ICQ list, not neccessarily the best skill. If you do have a run-off, just go w/ the ties. Keep it simple.

what do you mean Sage you have baerly half that... If you look most of those people are on 2-4 different nodes playing in different games.. No one cares what you have to say.. If its a tie you should have a run off other wise who wins??? Its not to try and get the result someone wants its to get a defenite winner instead of a tie... Darn I hate people sometimes...
