Okay I have worked out the bugs with the TW Awards Voting Booth. The only thing is, you have to register to vote like in a real election vote, but there can be no posting in the forum it is in, cause that is disabled, and the TW Awards Voting Booth is now open for business. So get all your tails over to it and vote. You all know you want to vote for your favs that are listed in the Voting Booth, now here is your chance to show your support, The top 5 are listed in each category of the categories that were in the nominations.
So have fun one and all, and support the community.
The Addy to it is: http://vulcansforge-online.net:99/TWForum/index.php
The polls will be up for 7 days, so there should be no excuses on why you didn't vote.
Vulcan
Oh, for those of you who still want their anynominity even for the voting, you can log on with any alias and/ or Email and reg for the voting, it will not send out an Email to confirm you, it will just validate you are a real person.

Are you sure the top 5 in a category are enough. I am sure in some 10 would be better

The votes worked out so it was no problem to use the top 5, and ender wanted only the top 5 used, I don't know why either, I felt the same as you RR.

If this is the case DF, wouldn't holding the Awards in January make more sense? This way the nominations and voting would have to apply to the previous year, it makes sense to me, and we do need better ways on making sure things are for the previous year, but no system is 100% perfect. Not yet anyway. We will work on something better to help next year I hope.

vulcan, you are right. I think there might even be someone up there who hardly played last year.
The problem is that there is not anyone who is consistently in charge of it year to year
Ender stepped up and you helped, but what is next year to bring?
and sing, I still don't know you
lol, I have to vote for what *I* know just like everybody else. If I was forming my opinion by what other people say, well....good thing I don't do that.

laff on that one Maggie, I hope we will have some form of order for next year, I will work on making a formal system for it and hopefully it will work, i will get with ender to work on some details and try to setup a system that will hopefully work for the Awards next time.

Yes they should of been held in January or December, that would of helped make it for that year instead of the last few games in 06. But noone really took up the project soon enough, so we got to live with it. And thanxs to Ender and Vulcan for getting it up for us.

I have to agree that there were a FEW players on the voting list that HARDLY or DID NOT play last year if any at all....
There were also a few nominations for scripts, that didn't exsist last year... I found that hilarious as well.

LOL @ maggie. You know me about as well as most people here do... I did play last year, altho it was my first year. I should get most improved newb . Nah... let Akor have that one. Too bad he isn't around atm.
Next year we should start it in December and go thru January. Just need to get it all going. Things look good, V, I think the thread-style system works well.
I think Miss should definately win the best smack talker vote since J isn't active... hehehe.

Good, and I plan on keeping that forum just for things like this and will work on the visuals for it soon to make it to the feel of the community, and when we have major things like the awards and so forth, the people holding them, can get with me for access to setup what they need to hold their special function, such as the Awards, this way I don't have to make it all and put it up again, it will already be there waiting for the time to be used again. All that will have to be done is set up the name for what the event will be for and whala, instant setup.
