Hello Beloved Twarriors,

It is my sad duty and obligation to inform everyone that I will not be around to advise, critize, or teach any of you for an unknown period of time.

As most of you know I have not participated in any "Major" games for quite some time, What you did not know is why. Well here it is, I have had a major heart condition that has limited my ability to handle the stresses that these games produce, and the stresses from some of the Guys and Gals also : ).

Yesterday 4/19 I had an eeg and ekg tests and The doctors were concerned enough that further procedures were ordered, today 4/20 I had a chest x-ray and full blood work, and a Cardial Catheter.
The doctors decided to send me right to surgery and scheduled me for 6 am 4/21, However I wanted sometime to get my affairs in order. And to notify my Family and Friends, just in case.

So heres my notice to the Twars Community.

On 4/27 I will be in the hospital for Open Heart Surgery.
The central valve (aortic) needs to be replaced, following this operation I will be in the ICU for 10-12 days.

My Wife or Son will post the room # as soon as I am out of surgery so that any of you will be able to continue to keep the community informed.

I will continue to log in till the day b4 my surgery to answer any questions.

I'm sorry to hear about your illness, and I do look forward to when you come back so we can fight again Trident huh...heh try for the 4th floor, they always had the best lookin nurses there. Well that and the 2nd, but I doubt you want to go to the maternity floor

Good Luck Zen. Being in the medical biz, I know what you're heading into. Though it IS scarey, this is a procedure that is fairly common. You will do great, and hopefully will have many years of stress ahead of you.
Check ahead w/ the hospital, many provide wireless internet to patients/staff. Why, you could have 'em put EIS into your rehab...


PS Don't forget fuzzy slippers w/ good traction soles, a nice big bathrobe, some good books and an ipod/walkman... You can always spot a saavy patient.

I figured it was better for ya to find out now... and well look on the bright side, if ur still kicking, ur chances are pretty high of making it through everything without a hitch. So you are virtually guaranteed to be around for many more years, to rightfully bragg to all about the biggest bill you had, and that you lived to tell about it. j/k
