Nominations are now OPEN, you can visit the 9th Annual TradeWars Awars at http://www.nprjournal.com/twawards/index.htm , I would like to thank everyone involved with this years awards, but then again, only Vulcan and myself have done ANY of the work this year, I dont want any thanks, but as always, Vulcan has been most helpful, give him a thank you when you talk to him. Vulcan will be tabulating this years awards, putting aside the fact that something may go wrong, the awards are now open, and will remain open for one week from today. Please, get the word out to everyone you think will be intrested. Someone send Eleq a message and have him post it on the dock? Thanks and I hope you all enjoy this years TW Awards. (Just a note, i've been asked, no where on the page this year does it say "2006 TradeWars awards", atleast I dont think, this induction of awards is for 2005, will host the 2006 awards in 2007, you can vote for whoever you like, anyone active in 2005, up to this point) Enjoy! |

Darn this game and its failure to interest me in this the 12th year. Seriously this game is like a bad drug habit that will not die. |

Possible new category just to list the names of those who played and helped some of us along the way in the game....maybe just call it something like 'Memorial Base'.... not a category to vote but just add names for those whom we knew who have passed beyond. My 1st 3 nominations are Buzz Lightyear, Jackal and Rave. |

Some of you are still using the old page, and its sending nominations to my e-mail address, please, do not use http://www.tw-foundation.com/twawards/index.htm (DO NOT USE THE PREVIOUS LINK) instead use the current version http://www.nprjournal.com/twawards/index.htm , the award nominations sent by the old site have autmoatically been caught by my spam filter and deleted. FC to answer your question, why not honor our fallen commardes here? Where we can share our found memories of them, and let them know they will always been in our hearts?? (Edited to fix word) |

The real question is being they are easy to confuse and hit, why did the keyboard designers make them side by side on it. Laff |

FC to answer your question, why not honor our fallen commardes here? Where we can share our found memories of them, and let them know they will always been in our hearts?? Our fallen comrades have been honored here and elsewhere including sites that no longer exist. Posting them in a 'Wall of Fame' in the awards with no votes attached just would remember them in a base where returning players might see them if they check the Awards and newbs might see them and ask new corps they join with 'elder players' who they were.... Jackal led the Wolf Pack, Rave was senior beta tester for Eisonline (and got her name due to her raves in various forums), Buzz Lightyear stayed online playing as long as he could before a nasty brain tumor took him down (as far as I know)... It just seemed like an idea to try.... (Edited to fix word) |

Heh, sorry, you all know I cant spell, get over it. Just a heads up, their is a security feature built into the nomination form, if you sumbit twice, it will NOT go unnoticed, anyone sending their nominations more than once will have all their votes thrown in the trash. Heh, now I need to submit mine as well. |

The warning was simply for those players who thought "hey, wouldnt it be cool if I nominated myself 3 or 4 times" Just a heads up is all, and you should know if you voted already, and if you dont know, then you shouldnt be voting anyway, heh, aka Dont vote drunk. |

(Edited to fix word) this is why i asked as i have cast my nominations, i then went to the site u say to go to i see nothing that says i already have done so, there fore i wonder if my nominations have been "lost" thus i need to redo them to the correct link. |
