I usually never respond to forum posts about what I feel should be internal issues, however, at the suggestion of certain well known players and game ops, I will be responding in this instance and in the future, whenever my board is wrongfully mischaracterized.
First Off, we have posted rules and they are at http://www.ultimatetw.com under games. We also have a Forum where all player have access and are invited to contact us in the event of a problem.
Regarding this specific game, Game H, Both major corps BROKE several of the rules. One corp specifically asked that No action be taken against the other corp, who had used IG's during the truce period, as well as other violations such as denying players access to stardock, etc.
It came to my attention from players in Corp 1 that they felt ONE of their OWN members was duping.
I confirmed it and immediately upon confirmation, notified the offending team that the game would be rebanged and the NON-offending team would be awarded the game win, which has been posted in our forums. When I checked the game logs however, it did NOT reveal that either character was using the same IP. I checked with the individuals in question directly, and THEY admitted to the scheme to give them a competitive advantage. As a result, the offending character has been deleted.
I was able to ascertain the following:
1. That a regular player used the password and account of another regular player to make it appear that his corp had more players online then they actually did. while he was doing this he would talk in fedcom using both accounts at the same time to give the appearance of greater strength.
2. That the other player was not in fact playing in the game
I have read the post on EIS regarding this matter several times and take issue with one particular thing!
This was NEVER, I repeat NEVER, brought to my attention by any one OTHER THAN THE OFFENDING TEAM THEMSELVES!
The team that posted this complaint on EIS NEVER CONTACTED ME about this issue!
Now to the game F issues.
One player made representations that he had permission to use multiple accounts all at once.
I recieved 2 emails and 2 ICQ messages about this issue. I entered the game made contact with the offending player checked the game logs to confirm spoke to him and his son to confirm certain details after that conversation I deleted several characters from that game. I then notified those that had brought this to my attention.
