Go play WoW. heh, j/k. Here are my thoughts: I joined a game the other day. it has unlim corp members allowed. that is gay. however, many people joined. (i think something like 20 total, and its like 10v7 right now) so i thought, hey, we have enough willing people, why not get a real game going? (i mean geez, we are all obviously desperate enough to play *that* game, a real game would be a wonderful thing for us all) Edit: Killer Instinct (always makes a fun game, though any good edit will do) Turns: 800 (no more than 1k, no less than 250) Mbbs: Yes (or not, i don't care, how long do you want to sdt?) Corp size: 5 (5 is a good number) Max # of corps: 5 (again, 5 is a good number) ISP: on (duh) Starting colos with full corps: 75k (between 50-100k) Death Limit: 8 (10 is overdone) closed game, no truce, no dupes, no lame changes to edits, no whining. i am looking for 2 things. 1) I am looking for a host. 2) I am looking for opinions of players a) would you play? b) do these settings/edits work? 1) what would you change? 2) what would you keep? so, let the feedback come in, please post here your thoughts on the edits/settings and anything you would like to add/change, also post if you would be interested in playing/hosting the game and if you would bring a corp, or would be looking to join a corp. (if i see a large interest in the game, we could easily add more than 5 corps, but i'd prefer not to make this a "Big Corp Game" as that just produces headaches) so, let er buck. i'm bored and want to play. if you can't, or choose not to post, feel free to icq me or email me. KI sounds fun but what about chess v2 edits. 5 5 man corps sounds good were you planning on a draft or will it be BYO. I would be willing to play some but only from work as to not interfere with my WoW time what little WoW time I do have. I was just talking to Coke about maybe putting together another draft style game with maybe smaller corps but similar edits. Anyways you can count this ATM in for your game as long as peeps understand I will not be at keys as much as I was before. |

Sounds like fun, I'd prefer a draft, and would actually like to head up a team, although I'm sure there are other more qualified players to do so. (maybe?) I've seen alot of skill, but not alot of talent lately. Most the people I know that still play, like playing with/under me. I think that's awesome. Would like to add - Draft sounds perfect... 5 teams, I'd say up the corps to 6... HHT style... 30 players... we can put together 30 guys... I don't know about chess v2... I'd go with pirate, killer instinct, or something like that. The idea of starting off like chess is fun, we can turn it into capture the flag, but that is kinda gay too. 20k sectors, 800 turns is fair enough.. MBBS definatly... high port regen, medium port density... my two cents, either way, I'm there. Graz |

I would perfer a change to what we normally play, lets play a a game with MBBS off. Granted it means a lot more sdt like Slim said, but it's not something a lot of us play often. A change every now and then can only make you a better player. 50% port density, 10k sectors, non MBBS, 750-800 turns, 5 man corp limit, low collie regen, low collie start. I only say this becuase Harley has said it time and time again which I believe, playing the same type of edits all the time makes for a weaker player. After saying all that and what i'd personally like to play, I'm up for anything if it gets more then 5 people in a game. |

ok, looks like people want a draft... ugh. the only reason i prefer mbbs is because it means that after you go mobile, you can let your reds have a break, and don't need to worry about having everyone on at the same time to sdt. there are a couple other reasons i prefer mbbs (such as alignment issues), but i am willing to play anything right now so non-mbbs works for me. i'll start 2 threads, one for volunteers to play, one for ceo's. we'll look for 5. (ugh) we'll give it a week, see how many people sign up and go from there. |

hmmm....i love it and sounds really good. I like a challange since most players that know how to play only want to play unlimited games. As we all know turns game does make people think more. I like the idea of a draft. Again makes teams a bit more even. /smack talk on. Since The Outfit cannot get it together day one. /smack talk off. Do not know when this is going to happen i hope not for a few weeks as i am away soon on holiday and no comp time. But if not count me in on a corp one with 4 peeps that can handle it without me for a few days maybe a week.

Planet trades are more profitable on a per turn basis than sdt. Even if you can't mega, you shouldn't be doing sdt all game. |

non MBBS and stock steal? that's 100%... ur nutz... 70% is fine. and 30 as a rob multiplier, might as well have MBBS, but, in true form, we'll all be able to make more cash in the long run with MBBS off... of course, not all of us will make it that far! muhaha! graz |
