Don't believe so, unless you've limpeted them before they signed off. They will be towed directly to the sector, not hitting anything along the way. Any limpets or fighters they land on will not be activated until they log in, which will then be treated as normal sector entry (armids, limpets, fighters, haz, quasar blasts, etc).

So no, I don't believe limpeting around fedspace will help you track them. But you can amtrack. The feds tow with a certain predictability, they won't tow thru fighters if they don't have to so by putting fighters 1 sector out from fedspace in all directions you can control where they'll end up. If the # of traders per fed sector is low enough, you can even use this to force sleeping players to their demise.

There are several public "amtrack" scripts available that give you the sectors to fig... provided this is what you're trying to do.

To amtrak a player, you have to do more than just surround fedspace. You have to surround all of the MSLs. Additionally, they have to be your figs, as the feds will tow people through their own figs at times.

Thanks for the clarification. Is the MSL figging because MSLs clear before tows at 'tern?

The Feds have thier own figs?? you mean like a good corps figs?

I think he was referring to figs belonging to the person being towed.

I think Bethel was just poking fun at him for the ambiguity .

Yes, the surrounds of the MSLs are because they clear first. Additionally, Oso was correct. "Their" was a reference to people, not feds.
