Ok. Somebody on corp 1, or corp 2 in Call to Battle on Alienbase had best give me some sort of explanation as to why you retards megacorped against us. That game was goin great, there was no need to go and be a bunch of ***holes about the fact that both teams were getting your pants beaten off.

I need some more info here, was your corp beating two other corps at the time this happened? If this is the case its a common occurance, its happened to me more than once and ive been on the other end more than once. Only words of comfort i can give is that it happens and not to get to upset over it, its part of the game, alliances and such. You never know, u might mega corp with one of those corps next game......

Maga corping is not part of the game.
Maga corping is greatly frowned apon in the community.
Maga corping is considered by most to be on the same level as duping.

The bastards did it to destroy as much of your assets as possible and kill as many of your corpies as might be available as baby seals would be my guess.

It really sux when some players/corps think that when this game is called TradeWars, we should forget the War part.

Well I know it was a fun game till this happened. When i loged on to cby I seen that Traitor had CBYed and Maggie was going to do the same and i would like to thank them for there suport . Sure a good way to wreck a good game. And for those of you that think mega corping is ok ,well go play with each other. Then you's wounder why people are quiting playing TW! sheesh!!!!!!!!!!

I apologize for any confusion, but before we get into this mega-corping discussion i would like to hear a definition from someone i believe:-) By your definition it seems everyone that ever loaned me figs or ships in any game i have ever played is a cheating S.O.B. That is quite a list. I am not a liar or a cheater, i hope most people know that. Yes, i did loan them some figs, yes, i do expect to be repaid, yes, i have the cash machine rolling and we will finish this game. On the subject of cheaters i have seen jester do many foul things in games past, i wanted him out of ctb because of his nasty mouth and nasty attutude which he is happy to display on fedcom, in private messages, the log, etc. You want a nice clean game? leave him out of it and i'll play anyone anywhere. hell, we can all go solo game and see who really is the best, but i won't play against jester anymore period. You want me out of a game scream obscenities on fedcom and pm's at me for a few days, then start rotating corpies thru like musical chairs in death limit games. I will think you are jester and cby!

It happens that I don't think you were winning, silence. I believed we had an excellent chance to win. It was a good game that could have gone to any of the 3 corps. I don't feel so good about it right now.

In my opinion, this hurt people on all the corps.

No matter what take a person may have on it, it still was bad for the game.

The only possible opponents for you guys are now the people you expect to repay you the only resources they will be making? In the same sentence go on to say how your cash machine is gonna roll over them? How do you expect to do that, while they repay you? Wake up and smell the lack of intelligence.

You're quite right Maggie, the game was still quite open. But my point really was that without combining together, neither team could take us.

I have never complained about people who use scripts playing tradewars. Nor about those who use helpers.

So what exactly constitutes mega corping? Is setting up a truce or an
alliance with another corp considered mega corping if resources aren't
shared? What about helping a completely new player get started in an
established game, giving them a small amount of money to buy a ship
or something even if they're not on your corp? Or towing a 3rd party
after they've been torped by your enemy to keep the enemy from capping
that ship?

I mean clearly going in with the intent of breaking a big corp into
multiple parts and establishing resource runs between them is a mega
corping strategy. So what is considered acceptable and what isn't
considered acceptable?

You raise interesting issues, which came to the table before, over and over and over. E.G. - Pay a corp toll, is that megacorping? Pay toll to a sector that has 2 enemy tolls? 50K enemy tolls?

So I suspect this is my last post on EIS, thanks to all the people who bothered to show me where i screwed up, that was always important to me not to repeat mistakes, but i can't play fair when it is ok for jester to cheat in one game and everyone expects me to be an angel when he comes and tries to stomp all over me in a game I truly enjoyed last round. Kav is one of the nicest guys in twars, and adomma one of the better thinkers in the game. Bye jester, enjoy. I will be finishing my current games up and not starting anymore.
