I was checking into a game I hadn't really thought about in some time, Starwraith, and while at the site I noticed a new game offering there called Evochron. http://starfighter.home.att.net/evochron/index.htm The description sounds su****iously like a TW type game with some elements of BRE mixed in all wrapped up in a first person 3D combat simulator type interface. I loaded up for a few minutes til I inadvertently got toasted in the trainer (geez...) and have to say it looks like a much improved Starwraith at least from the outset. Another DarkBasic game. Anyone played with this one yet? If so how similar is the strategy component to a TW clone? |
