and those returning after LONG breaks. First, TWX is no longer a registered helper, all you have to do is dload version 2.03, TWX Final, you can still get it at http://www.twx-proxy.com, not sure how long that site will hold, but as of right now, you can still get it there. All the scripts that come with TWX are now free as well. Cherokee released all his scripts free of charge in conjuction with Xide and you can find them at http://www.grimytrader.com I believe. The Grimy Trader via RammaR with a little help from CK now have all the scripts that are basically open to the public. You can find all kinds of neat goddies here, including SupG's pack, and the master script writer Ender's scripts, LOL, right Alex?? Lastly, learn to script if you havent already. ALL of my scripts that are open to the public are open source or .ts at the grimy, you can open them in notepad, have a look-c and learn the basics of scripting, thats how I did it anyway. -Ender |

i need help getting my proxy working someone please give me the steps too load attac too the telent server for proxy then too set up proxy i need too be schooled again from start too finish it's been 6 months.. thanxs |

Ok here is the deal man; 1. Start TWX Proxy, if you have no database created it will give you a msg box telling you to do so at this time. Take the game info sectors:port:telnet address and add new. Type in the game name, and put all the info in the boxes it goes in, ie: Game Name = Whatever you want. Sectors = game sectors, etc. 2. Load ATTAC and connect to the port 127.0.0.1 and for your first time it should be port 23, not sure how attac works but you just need to connect to port 127.0.0.1 (aka Local) and port 23 if its your first time using TWX. 3. Have a blast... You should be set, gonna ICQ you right quick with the same basic steps. I'm a n00b myself as everyone will tell you, so it should be a blast us 2 n00bs in a box, trying to find the top... |

Well, to understand what WABBIT is doing with TWX proxy Pro, you must check out HIS site. The link is listed above, and the changes and bug fixes that WABBIT has done are posted there. Check out his web site to find out the major differences...from what I can see, there are quite a few changes. |

I think you might have an easier time finding scripts for 2.03 than for 2.10. Uncompiled, open source should work fine on for either version though. |

Yea i tryed you use 2.05rc, and not on the beta team for the others wabbit was working on, and had prob with the 2.05rc, so I had to go to 2.03 and everyting works now and, dont have to worry about converting scripts scripts. |

First loose Attac and get Swath. Have them both and use Swath. Much better |

I like swath but I know a few peeps who use attac and get good results with it. I personally prefer TWX 2.03 final over any other version available right now. Ender, you going to teach me how to play again when I came back to TW? |

lol Speed., the only thing I seen in Swath was the map, other than that, I perfer the Zoc/TWX combo, and I've only tried 2.03, haven't tried Wabbits new ones, so I can't comment on them. |

and as a side note, u need an old version of Zoc ( around 4.1 or that area )to use rev helper, but the custom buttons and menus u can make are great, most mine pull a twx script or send a mac, only use a couple of Revs orginal stuff. there might be an old copy on my site can't remember... hmm seems like the free versions of the helpers should be on http://www.GrimyTrader.com , might wanna add them there if no copyright conflict. |
