hay there. Doing some google searches for some old games that I use to play along time ago (8+) years ago on BBS's and ran accross this board. Is this the same game that was played by E-mail on the old fashion BBS?? If so cool! It has been along time since I have been involved in anything like this, as a matter of fact what got me thinking about the game is ran accross the old DOS/ early windows version 1.1??

Anyway, as I'm sure its been asked may a time before. Where do you download the game, where can you find the online games (cost?) and do you still play by email???

You never played trade wars by email, as far as I know. At this point, you play via telnet. Check out the game rebangs section for games that are running or telnet to twgs.alienbase.net There was another thread here recently regarding someone just coming back to the game, so you might want to search that out, too. And finally, check out http://www.tw-cabal.com/

Yeah, VGA planets as a PBEM game. Still got my copy too. Pity my laptop can't read floppies. hehe.
Tradewars has never been PBEM.
However, it's a great game. You should check it out!

AHH..my bad. Correct it was vga planets. Think I also read up on TW also. Anyway, got busy with work and school and now looking for something to occupy my 10 minutes of time I have left. Will have to read up on how to play the game, looks interesting..

Yea Zar, cause of the hi Res graphics, thay can interlace it
with flashes every 10th frame, and another one at a 10th of a second of that one, and the message keeps getting stronger on a logrithmic
scale, equil to but not exceding the average image impules
and ites relitive speed along the opitc recepters of the brain.
