I'm not going to name names in this post as I dont want it to reflect badly on anybody it's not supposed to, but there is a very attentive sysop out there who was kind enough to alert myself and my corp to duping that was going on in a game. If we hadn't have found out, we probalby would have spent a great deal of time playing and probalby eventually losing to these players many as players in the game were getting close to the death limit. Thank you, for putting so much attnetion into your server. We'll definately be back to play when the other corp gets bored of playing a dead game. |

what I heard was the new corpie they were swapping in had the same IP as the one they were swapping out. And 5 less deaths of course. |

It was kirath. his server is kirath.zapto.org:2002 <<edit correction made to game port>>>> and he is rebanging the game this friday. Check the post out in the rebang forum. I would also like to appologize to everybody on the corp mentioned above, as after arguing back and forth with their CEO last night I realize that what they did was more in protest to a decision I made as CEO to swap out a corpie who was no longer able to play than a need to cheat. I'm not going to argue on the forum about why I did it, or why I didn't think it was cheating. Because after looking at the logs of the ICQ convo I had last night, I realize that people on both sides feel they were wronged and I'm not going to subject the forum to another pointless flamewar. Kudos to Kirath for stepping in immediately when things got out of hand. |
