Well, I'm starting to get the "new edits" bug. I have an idea or 2 for new games and I thought, why not ask the players what sort of game they might like to see made. So, any particular type of game you'd like to see made? I'm not talking theme necessarily, more along the lines of "low turn game with "x" sort of setting made for "doing a style of play". One of my ideas is a mid turn game, red oriented with lots of ports and quick planets but weak defense. Feel free to send ICQ's if you prefer.

Unlimited Turn, 1 week, medium amount of ports, few planets, randomized, say 5 players, 20000 sectors. all out war.

hehe how about a game of "clone the ferrengi scorpion"? you know, where the pod of a ship is still the ship.

Mid turn blue orientated, usefull ships only, 60% ports, fast planet upgrades (but a lot of product needed), several agressive aliens some of which have very usefull ships (hard to cap though), one alien race to rove the universe mopping up toll figs (lol), two man corps

Actually Jesus's last name was not Christ, Christ is a title and is Greek IIRC.

Best edits I saw were the Traveller edits, but I guess I am biased on that, Arucard made them with me.

I like lots of mean and nasty aliens that drop Off figs everywhere with ships that sell for lotls of creds when you cap them.

A few years ago Chris Collings has Edited a Borgains game where the Scorpion's pod was another stripped down Scorpion. the corp I was with got accused of cheating because of that. We all got podded once by a guy and it seemed very odd to him that our pod was the same ship we started with.

I really liked that game. I could make a 100 mil in about 8 hours or hunt aliens and sell their ships and still make good money. they just left too many figs everywhere and the aliens werevery mean. Chris did a good job tweeking that game. Too bad he's gone now.
