You know This used to be a Forum were one another could joke to the other about how bad or slow he was on keys....
Usually the other person if he was elite... was drunk or high or something... It has turned into a forum were people just whine to one another and like Solon Amadeus Or whatever his name is tries to smack back... and sound intelligent about it...People this is a game... And yes i know we sometimes put alot of time into it... BUT THIS IS TRADE "WARS" And in war anything goes... You want a game were everyone is nice to one another... Go program your own mud and call it PEACEWARS... even then war is war... no matter what you throw into front of it.... It makes me sick... Sysops of this forum have limited or should i say have to govern what goes on in here most of us are adults.. Let's act like it... I love the game it's fun social and time consuming.... But we wonder why it's dieing... People like the sysop TEDITING a game .... Well there's one of your reasons... Another would be the person trying to defend the sysop... There's 2 reasons... If you want to whine go nag at someone who cares... If you want to Smack Talk to someone meaning you had the better of the fight... Let us here it... S**T i love seeing myself put in my place sometimes...

Solon Amadeus is an idiot. He was a crappy sysop and I'm pretty sure a crappy player. I also suspected him up playing on his own board under a different name. *shrug* But I really hate him, so I wanted to say that.

just fyi, (as i've done it myself) ever since smack talk got taken down EIS doesn't want personal attacks on any forum, even the open discussions.

My bad. I'm not here that much anymore since I don't play at this time, so it wouldn't effect me THAT greatly, but I'm just curious. Can I still say I hate him, but not say why? Or can I not even say I hate him?

i think it you phrase it "i dislike him because of disputes in the past about how i think that his twgs is a bane to twars IMO" i think something like that would maybe be closer, but basically, anything remotely resembling a personal attack isnt tolerated. as it's said "if you gotta think about it, don't do it" heh. i personally suggest going to twgs.org and fanning the flames of your hatred just because maybe it'll start something, its been dead there ever since the big game controversy. heh. hmm.... You saying there is going to be another BOTE? If so I gotta start gathering a screw.... I mean a crew and it it happens then when and where? BOTE used to be the best from local BBS's even if they hated each other but with demise of BBS's how are BOTE corps gathered? Direct recruiting of folks that played anywhere in any game with new TWGS and then ask that server to sponsor a team or do you have better suggestions? I already asked about the idea of folks who used to play on a BBS that is no longer around for a couple years and several of the corpies representing that server would play again...but not able to contact the sysop after he backed the entire server up and headed out to college in Iowa. BOTE going to have only a few corps and low interest for turnout if only current servers can sponsor entries and will fall along the way just as WTC did after monster megas wore a lot of senior players out in what was the most grueling game I have ever seen...WTC 2001!

well as i only know of 2 bote teams (ultimatetw, lol, and blacksun) dunno how ult got an invite and vader got pimped, so FC i will give you a 100% authority to get your team together and bring em.
(i have this authority because no one has posted crap about wether or not there will be/when there will be bote. hell, im gonna open my twgs for a day, then send myself solo heh.

UltimateTW doesn't have a BOTE team. The idea was kicked around for a week and nothing came of it.

You'll need to talk to either eleq or timbo in regards to specifics on the BOTE this year.

I think I recall reading it was on for Nov or Dec and some players got upset (imagine that!) about the time it was scheduled for.

I also think (regarding another posted question) that Historicaly, yes it was BBS teams, but now they are server teams.
