Hey Slim,

Right now I got a hurricane off my coast and it just stopped moving. (Darn thing). After it moves away and all damages are cleaned up, I can probably find a few people and we can get a game going. Depending on edits/turns. (after this storm, we may have another, so remember im interested and ask my in 2 weeks if Florida is still above the sea level [:D]

heh, if need be you can sleep on my couch (if you pay rent, hehe) ya, lack of competitive games now, sucks. hope you dont take any or little damage and can get back soon

I know I just responded on the other thread, but I hadn't seen this one yet. I'm curious if you'd be interested in helping me put the server through it's paces by helping to host whatever game it is that yourself and the others you mentioned are interested in? If you send me a .TWA I'd be happy to import it and fire it up for you guys to play on. It should work out to everyone's advantage, you getting the type of game you want and me getting some traffic to further test the server out. If you're interested let me know and maybe we can work something out.

Still waiting to hear from you Slim. If I'm missing an email or it got filtered then please post here. I had the server down for a while yesterday but nobody was on at all so I guess that was no big loss. It's back up now but no logins. I suspect people are bored with the test game, but since I haven't got any info on the one you want me to set up there's not much I can do right now. I want to put up some games that people want to play, but I can't do that without feedback. If you want to have me host a game for you and yours, all you have to do is send me the twa or tell me exactly what setup you want and I can do it. Anyways, still waitin' to hear from you. [B)]

oh sorry, im kinda busy in RL right now so dont wanna find a corp and then find a corp to play against and then not spend much time in game, heh. i shouldnt have too much trouble finding a corp.. but i'll make sure i find a full corp before i lay down the challenge so lets say i have 4 players and i think Krimsonblade will be my 5th, but then Jhereg says PR accepts the challenge... there goes my 5th player, heh. but, i can tell you this, i'd say 99% most likely that it will be a low turn (1k or under) smallish universe (3k-10k) probably stockish or well edited game. but, again, will take a bit, ill talk to corpies today and when i get a team together, ill post a challenge here on forums, when a team accepts, we will agree on edits and settings and u can set it up and we will test away at your server. heh

Alright, that sounds perfectly agreeable. Until then, however, I'm leaving the test game open for people to connect and play on. Hasn't been much activity the last couple of days and I don't think there's more than four or five players so if people want to come check it out there's still plenty of time. I'm not playing in the game, even though it's a tester, and everyone's still welcome. [;)]

scorch u have a corp? what im thinking of doing now is getting my corp and then inviting people to join (as that way i can be sure i will get players) but if you have a corp you are welcome to join and if you dont have a corp but want to play on a corp, ill find you a team and if you want to play solo... well, that just wont work, heh.

Ok, Ill bite. I know that most people are scared of DU so I will lay a challenge down for you newb types without using all DU players. We will play with one less person than you guys slim. Here is my proposal...
10k universe
a good grid ship of some type
fast planets but not crazy fast
you get 6 peeps together and we will get five or you get 7 and we will get 6 etc.
we dont really care about the rest of the settings other than delays off.

My team without talking and confirming things...

and however many du players it takes

I have spoken to noone about this but I know that jhereg and I have been talking about playing a game together so there you have it. You scared? Look at it like this...it gives you a chance to kill some elites (alex, jhereg) and beat up on some old folks (me and the rest of the players on my team).

When my team gets back up and running,we would like to play aginst you guys.I'm not gonna smack or anything like that.We know each other too well.Just a good game between players who like playing and who ever wins, wins.RL stuff has come up and we should be able to play within a few weeks,We can get with you then.One guy lives where the hurricanes hit,I have finals,Garbage like that.But we look forward to the game.

bone, it was me crit and fear who were looking for the game, heh. would love to play DU though as playing good people is fun while playin newbs is not. we'll talk on icq, im hoping to get 3-5 decent to good corps in a game, and have a good long fun game.

Well it's been a while and I haven't heard anything from anyone. Nobody logs in anymore and quite honestly my server's resources are better put to use elsewhere if that's the case. I'll be happy to put the server back up if/when you guys come to agreement and want me to host a game for you, but until then it's offline.
