Hi all, I had mothed a set of cannons in a sector in a game i'd been playing in a few times. The last time i got in in with the idc and deployed a fig. Background, the people i was invading had disbanded so the owners did not interact with the planets. Also game info is: Door, v3.11.55 [GOLD OFF] [MBBS OFF]. Alright, the last quasar shots i got before i deployed the fighter were the following: 7,742 5,496 2,582 7,209 4,204 Alright, so i xported to my iss, and warped in the planet... got max figs and shields, and exited/entered game to begin a little more mothing using no turns... Upon entering the game the iss went kaboom, by these quasar shots: 14,974 17,079 2,324 26,786 Again nobody coulda modded the quasar settings, and the time differential between the last shots on the idc, and the exit/entering of the game was about 2 minutes. Is there something i'm being stupid about here or does this look funny? Thanks -LT |

There was a strange thing going on with Quasars in that version! Once, I mothed 5 planets down to under 100 damage from each planet, then, suddently, the planets were up to full strength again and I had to moth them down all over again! |

Gotta agree with SGO, I saw this in a 3.11.58 version the other day. Black Fox and I had cannons nearly drained cost a ton of figs, went and bought more figs, came back, and cannons were at nearly 50% of their original fuel. Jhereg |

yup. sometimes quasars decide to refuel themselves. its very annoying, heh. dont ask me why, dont ask me how, they just do. heh. i think it mostly happens pre-3.12 i would have to defer to JP or EIS to see if it got fixed or what causes it to happen in the first place. Slim |

It mostly happens with rogue planets after you warp in a planet of your own. I'm not sure why. |

I've had it happen to me and the planets weren't rogue shrug. Also, I was a happy recipient of this glitch once. A bunch of guys mothed the tar out of me, and I logged in the next day and my planets were FULL of ore |

Aww, thanks for the replies this is definatly what happened then. I did warp in a planet and the planets in question were rogue. Is this an issue only in older versions or current as well, just curious. -LT |

SGO - that's why I qualified with mostly. 4 out of 5 reports I get on it happen in the scenario I listed LT - I think I've heard a report of it happening in 3.12 as well. |
