As usual when venturing out you should be very careful about where you go...

I log onto OSTREETZOO to check out a game where he was touting a guy named Jeff as being God. I log in and Jeff is mighty friendly to me offering me cash etc. I politely tried to decline so I could kill his ugly butt and he persisted. I start world trading and while I am doing it he gives me cash. I tell him I hate to take money from him and he says that it is ok but not to shoot him for a WEEK. I didnt answer. Then I go afk for a sec and come back to being booted from server. "Jeff" (see: Sysop) has informed me while I am afk that I cant use a helper. Then "admin" logs in and sends me an Cimmail telling me if I use helpers again I will be banned. I double checked the log in page to be sure there was nothing about helpers before playing the game so bottom line is that sysop
a. Plays in his own games as you will soon see.
b. Uses tedit during a game
c. Lies about playing in his game (see post in game bangs)
d. Has ship delay turned on (gay)
e. Threatens to ban people over unannounced rules.

Beware of this server if you are smart as it will eventually cheat you. Follows is my cimmail and then "Jeff" (sysop) talking on fed.

Of course there would be no way that "jeff" would know I was using a helper as I made no mention of it. Unless he is the sysop watching it on the twgs side. Furthermore, if you have REMOTE access to ban someone you have remote tedit access. Yawn, have fun guy...

heh, bone aint no newb, i defy you or anyone playing on your server to play bone ALONE (not you alone, just bone) on ANY edits and ANY turns (NOT on your twgs). i dont even know you and i know what the outcome would be. i believe it happens alot in jail to people like you. no helpers or else ip ban.. but scripts are ok.. 10k universe, unlim turns.. ya that sounds fun without helpers. can i please telnet to your site and ****ing shoot myself??? if i use a macro does that count as using a helper? **** a macro, ill kill you by hand. good luck getting a single good player to ever play at your twgs. it wont happen. i could go on for another hour on how ****ing absolutely homosexual you are, but i wont, ill let everyone else tell you that.

Someone help me, how do I run a script without a helper program. Inquiring minds, want to know!

^^write up the script in ms word, copy and paste it into tradewars.

Bone collector, I am pretty sure he does not have remote TEEDIT... I have taken it away regardless. And in my stupidity, or perhaps to appease you I have made him leave the server...

That is the reason why I did not immediately IP ban you--I am sorry I forgot that--I just thought everyone had SOME skill here and didn't need to rely on helper programs. It is my understanding that you have been warned about helper programs by a player on the tradewars, but, I did not IP ban you.

slim shady, I hope this is a phase you are going through. I clearly stated that the ALIAS was 'newb' and the bbs was '!'--I said I didn't know if it was a 'newb' on this forum or not. If you would have taken time to read then you might have gotten that point--I did not know it was bone collector on my server until now.

I'm curious. How many people here do not use helper programs???

EDIT: ok, its a macro, not a script. My bad.
ALSO--I was wondering why I couldn't get into remote admin access (which I'm very sure has no TEEDIT) I disabled it. Silly me. Couldn't even connect... oh well. So if someone could please tell me if remote admin has TEEDIT I would really appreciate it.

That would be a macro, not a script. A script is "intelligent"; it is interactive and can react to changing game conditions. I dont use helpers, I write scripts. I cannot think of any helper feature that could not be duplicated by a script. Script usage can even be made undetectable - random delays between characters, random typoes corrected by backspacing, etc.

By using a terminal program such as Telix, Qmodem, Procomm Zoc, etc.

^^oh--sorry about that--I don't use helpers... I started using macros before I knew what they were called--so when I asked a corpy what they were called (he had been playing significantly longer) he said they were scripts...

First off, the helper I was using was TWX. The advantage gained from using TWX is absolutely none as it is available for free. I was not at keys when the "player" began telling me that helpers werent allowed. If he didnt have any kind of access, how the heck would he have a clue that I was using a helper. Instead of getting on here and continuing to lie just say it was a mistake to play on your own server and an even bigger mistake to try to ban someone for using a helper. A better question for you is "Who does NOT use a helper?"

In any case, I wont be back and I expect that many peeps will hesitate to play there as well.

^^I don't care whether it was a free helper or an expensive helper. Helpers are helpers. I have decided earlier that I am not playing on my own server. I am newer to this--so give me a break. I am not playing on my own server--but helpers are still not allowed. If you want to use helpers go to another game--one main reason I played on this server was because I knew I could keep it helper-free.

Macros are ok on my server--NO HELPERS

You will find that only newbs are not using helpers and that is only because they have not heard of them yet or don't know how to use them...yet. So you have a newb server. Should be easy to maintain. You should add that to your game bang postings. "Newbie Server, No Helpers". And as soon as you do that those newbs are gonna go searching for helpers cause they wonder what that is. Then you loose them too.

I don't consider a 'no helpers' game a noob game... Oh well, I'll try that though, thanks.
