Those of you that have been lucky enough to be enjoying Trader's Shootout have noticed that Black Sun has had some issues the last 24 hours or so. Well, here's the story. After I went to bed Monday night, my wife got online and played on Yahoo games. Innocent enough, except it lagged everyone in the game severely. Add to that, she "fixed" my system clock, which I set ahead 2 hours for the TWGS. People weren't getting game messages and some ports didn't regen. That issue has bee resolved. Well, I get up this morning, and it looks like she inadvertently shut down the server. GRRRRRRR. So, today, I'm going to price another box for the TWGS. Also, will have to get a router now too. So, if anyone has knowledge of routers and a place to buy a good cheap one, shoot me an icq. I didn't want to, but appears I have to spend EVEN MORE money on this free game [:(]

Good router, no configuring needed. U.S. Robotics Broadband Router Model #8003. I think it was like $30 on newegg.com

Jump on Yahoo. I've still got you as a buddy on there. This is the kind of stuff I do all the time.

Just a note on the linksys stuff. Every since Cisco bought them out I've had problems with the updated firmware for the wireless g router. Finally went back to Netgear MR814 (which is a b but works better).

Really makes me sad about how much of a computer geek I've become....wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid. Space....Cyber-space....oh well.
