Here is an idea...how about we put together a smack talkers multi round tourney. We can all put in our two cents about edits and come up with something we agree on and have it out. I offer up invites to the following:

of course D.U. will be there in force
anyone else who has posted on here in the last month
and of course, some of your corpies arent smackers, but they are welcome too.

I know that we are unbeatable in a true unlimited and I wont play a 200 turn game so we need to start with the turns issue. I feel like a 20k turns game is too much like an unlimited and noone can beat us so lets drop it down some...say between 1500 and 5k turns with a 1 tpw ship. If any of you arent chicken let me know on here and we can ALL get together and settle this debate about who is good and who isnt. I get tired of all the smack talk and never seeing some of you in any games. This will give us an opportunity to get a game going with all of us involved. Unless you are scared of course!

My proposals:
3k turns
1tpw ship
6 per corp
fast planets
offensive ships
No death limit, but death delay on of course
coastgames or alienbase as a host unless you are banned there and then we can look at twlinks or timbos or cks servers

Another idea is that we could play an unlimited, then a low turns, then a high turns game. Of course, like i said, you guys are probably scared (doog, zentock, etc) and this will never go, but if you are interested put in your two cents.

BRILLIANT!! I have never heard of this strategy before, but it will for sure keep the game going indefinetly because EVERY corp will be using this same idea.

Then let's make an afk script that AUTOMATICALLY refills our tholians while we sleep!!! OH MY GOD!!! We will never die, and as long as we ONLY stay in our sector, and NEVER hit any figs (which btw is also an AWESOME strat) we are invincible!!

It depends what corp I am on, and how many turns we get per day. I try to play a 1K or 2K turn game because I don't have a lot of time to play TW each day. I wouldn't want to be a solo in a game like that. I wouldn't want to be a CEO either, but I would be a follower.

Keep in mind that I am still learning, while most of the others are experts. I am not very fast at the keys and I don't have an attack sript, so I'll most likely be support or something.

I am honored to have been inlcuded among such an elite list of invitees as that, but I do want to point out to you that at no time, in any of my smack, talk, or otherwise, have i ever claimed to be anything other than a n00b returning from many years' absence. =)

I don't have a perma yet, either, so i'll probably be playing solo, but I'll come just because I am sure i'd learn a lot from all the great players that will be there, hehehe.

Heh some interesting posts! I think the round robin of 1 high and one low sounds best, although you need a third to determine winner, but then you cover all Game types. I would certainly play.
