Orion I do believe that Grazhoppa has played before and may be good. But anyone who has read all the posts like GraZHOPPA would have seen twcabal in alot of them. Interesting point, but would he have motivation to read TWCabal? I admit it is a well thought out stradegy guide, very informative. Not everyone clicks on every link that is posted here. The information was there for him to discover it, but instead he chose to ask a question. Many other people do this, including newbies and people like me who are still learning.

The TWX documentation and web site, for example, is confusing to me. So I post questions about it. I have had people like you and Grazhoppa offer to run me through a tutorial on TWX, but that never happened. So now I am learning TWX based on what I read, and what I experience. Excuse me if I ask questions the Pros already know the answer to, I was not fully aware of the answers, or else I'd never have asked the questions. My Fuzzy Memory doesn't recognize every fact and figure that I read, so when I am confused I ask a question or two.

BTW I think that quote that Vader had, came from one of "The Planet Of The Apes" movies. My Fuzzy Memory reminds me it was a tpotA movie, but I cannot locate which one or which actor/character spoke it. Now a thought comes into my head that a "The Planet of the Apes" TWGS game edit would be interesting to play. Have a "Forbidden City" planet and a "Planet Of The Apes" planet. Name ships after characters in the game, planet types after locations, and have an "Ape Overlords" alien race.

OK wildstar I will keep that in mind. But wou will also notice that he also posted earlier that he posts to help people or to screw with people. I dont think his reply was to help anyone, so I guess that leaves only 1 answer. And I do believe that Wildstar's name came up with alot of whining stupid posts. " What does ROFL mean." "What does lmao mean." "Someone broke truce and killed me." I think it is real funny when everyone got tired with Wildstars mouth that all the sudden Judge Dread shows up and we hear nothing else from wildstar. And if you look back at all the stupid posts that I am in most are in the smack talk forum. Not in every topic on the whole forum. You can say whatever you want in the smacktalk forum. Dont go into the TW help forum and post $hit just cause. Not unless you are helping someone.

I have already stomped you in 2 games. You got me in 1 game I was playing solo in. I believe that speakes for itself. But if you say you are not wildstar and he is out for awhile I will believe you. I was just pointing out that you showed up about the time he went away. I like your corp. Strider is ok, I beat him. Beam is good, I beat him. Spyhunter is good I beat him. You play like wildstar I beat you both. But I think you 2 play good. I will admit it is a team sport and if you have a good team you can win. Lets get back on the subject. And I am ranting. I come into the forums and see little 1 or 2 liners from Grazhopper that just make no sense. Why, WHY I ask you. Sure freedom of speach is ok in USA. But this is Tradewars if this was USA, we would have the ability to give money to the aliens after we beat them to rebuild. We could send them aid packages. We would be able to transfer more than 500k gold in the bank and Grimey would be an assassin. There are different rules in the TW realm. Orion we tried to help you with TWX and the offer is still up. You hit me or Dragonstar up and ask any questions. I cant help you with writing scripts, but will help you however I can.

Thats a good idea Zepher, I think the bad thing about that is just that people who do help and post useful information deserve the rank. But to tell you the truth I could care less if you are a newby or a captain if you help me I appreciate it.

Thanks Demon, I'll keep that in mind. I think I still have you guys on YIM. I am trying to learn on my own and if I have any questions, I'll ask. Problem has been that I spend 40 hours a week working on college stuff. 5 hours for class, 5 hours for the team I am on, and 30 hours of reading books, writing papers, doing research, and communicating with the team I am on. It is accelorated learning, one class lasts 5 weeks. So my brain is tuned into other things than Tradewars at times. It is a challenege and if I don't make it I can go right back to playing Tradewars full time.

So far I got a few of SupG's scripts, Noble's scripts, and Cherokee's public scripts.

I ran the ZTM in a few games, but the deadend tunnels it found, most of them turned out not to be deadends when I explored them. Is this normal, or did I do something wrong?

I hear ya Orion.I am in school also and I am getting my butt whipped by Darn tcpip sub netting and Router language.I hope to be back soon so I can play aginst Demon.HE seems to think that when you are ssming and afk,he comes in and pods me its the same as if i am at keys.No excuses you got me and good going,but when I am back after class is over,let me see you do it while I am at keys.
Btw orion,running ztm can give you false readings as I have noticed.But if you run it twice it will get a better map
And to restate what Judge said,Get with alexio,or survey or cherokee.They are some of the best out there,and leave me off the list,Im no good.

Orion another thing to look at is how many sectors you have explored. The more you have explored the better. If you do a second ztm it is a good idea. Never stick with the first one. Another good tip on bubbles and dead ends. Make sure there is not a back door in there. Avoid the door and try to plot a course to the back of the bubble. Dont twarp. If it says you cant do it then you have a good bubble.
