I"m sorry guys I know this is WAY off subject but.... I just read this artical that sent me off, I mean In Truth Bush is a stupid stupid man. I mean this home land security thingy. Go look it up it even sounds Nazi. But I have to admit, yes, Bush will be the fall of the democracy we Americans worked so hard for, but it won't be his fault because HE'S TOO STUPID TO KNOW. It will be his advisors that will screw this country over. sorry again just pissing and moaning...... |

It was founded as a Republic (that's what we americans have fought and worked so hard for). Hell, something as simple as the pledge of allegiance says that. |

Nothin like spittin it all out huh Bone. Except one thing, its not stupidity that qualifies them for being a Democrat, most are very well educated and intelligent people, the problem is they get that education from places like Harvard University for Nazis, Yale University for Socialists, George Washinton University for Communists, etc. Then they just tell everyone they can that its ok to be ignorant, have no common sense, not have to think for themselves, they dont even have to get a real job, and so on because their wonderful government will do all that for them, all they have to do is vote as many times as they can get away with for the Democrats in every state. Thats how the little bastards get where they are, dumb down the population and steer them the wrong direction. Hell I think most liberals think its ok to vote 2 or 3 times in an election. wow shorty got it, ya that's what we do I swear..... Anyways Kazmir is right I ****ed up and typed the wrong thing, even though a Republic is just a modifyed version of a Democracy. And Media is FAR from liberal, studys have accuatly proved this. But I'm not anti Republican i'm anti BUSH. |

lol, strider is right. but yes in general gore would be a bit better in office. Bush so ****ed this country over, look the the economics of the country now then look at them 4 years ago. and still back to the home land securty thing, it violates all of the constituion. |

Lets face it, our goverment is neither of the people or for the people. we elected a man that is not even in office. I say lets take our goverment back. If you where drawn from a lottery to be a congressman or senetor (just like for jury duty) then we could have a goverment that is of the people. the times they are a changin but our goverment just stays the same. |

Did any of you read that Tom Clancy book where the president and all of congress gets killed ala 9/11 style (this was written years before 9/11 mind you), but Jack Ryan ends up president and he encourages normal blokes, farmers, grocers, etc, to run as their replacements. Neat idea, too bad it will never happen. |

You guys crack me up. You read way too much of what the liberal media tells you. The only reason the economic boom of the Clinton years took place was because of policies that Reagan and the elder bush instituted. Clinton had very little to do with the prosperous times that occurred during his presidency. To even begin to think that Gore would have been better is just silly and I am so sick of hearing about how Bush didnt even win the election. The ONLY court that sided with Gore's appeals was the Florida Supreme Court of which there were ZERO republicans. All other courts rejected his appeals because he was, as democrats do, molding the Consitution in ways to fit his needs. Dont be silly with this argument. I, for one, am tired of carrying the burden that the democrats think is my responsibility. I dont think it should be ok for illegal immigrants to be given voter status simply so the demos can win an election. I dont think I should be expected to pay for some homeless crack addict to get medical treatment (i.e., Hillary's health care plan). I dont think that the richest of Americans ought to have to pay MORE taxes so that those "less fortunate" (i.e., illegal aliens) can pay less. Who is your boss? Do you work for some guy who is poor? Yes, the tax cut is working to stimulate the economy, and if some demo wins the next election, i can hear you guys coming on here talking about how HE was responsible for turning around the economy. Bush is not a "perfect" President, but I feel much more comfortable with him being our leader than i would with Gore or Clinton. Bone |

I wouldn't worry too much about all this home security stuff, at this time it is a neccessary evil that is required to fight a more real evil. Once things calm down it will go away, and if not, that's what the Supreeme Court is for, to determine the constitutionallity of such things. Remember the McCarthy Hearings (no I'm not that old, I had history in High School), that was the most unconstitutional thing this country ever allowed, but it happened because people were scared of Communism. Now this countries boogie man is Terrorism. Conclusion Beware of ism's It's things like people suing McDonald's because they're fat, lazy, couch potatoes that makes me angry with this country. We need to regulate Extreemnists, I have seen what they could do, I spent almost a year in Afghanistan last year, and even after we did away with the Taliban Government, the people were still afraid of them. Girls were not even allowed to learn how to read for fear of execution. |
