Hi All,
I have loved and played Trade Wars since the early 90's, and have always wanted to run my on TW server (BBS Dreams in those days), So now that I am out of school and making some $$$ I decided to set up a TW server. After 2 weeks, I have 3 regular players, and I think 2 of them might have left. So, Besides posting on here, I went all around the net to various game forums to find players, and was met with anti-spam flames, and got one player who thought it was too hard and gave up..

I just feel really cheesy galoping around the universe by my lonesome.. you know!?!?

So first off.. I just needed to vent, because I am sad that the turn out was so low, So thank you to all that read this far and listened to me.. Secondly, A question to all of you other TW players and Sysops.. I was just wandering how many players other games have, are others in the same sad shape as me? Were the real popular servers in the same boat at one time.. was it a slow build up.. Sort of a "If you build it, they will come thing". Lastly.. What is up with all of the multiplayer game players out there?? They all think that a game has to have awesome 3d graphics to be great.. There is so much more depth to TW than most of these other shoot-em-ups and RTS games, and even some online RPG's. Why does nobody know about us, or care about us?? Nobody even wants to give the game a shot once there here that it is mostly text based... What is wrong with them.. or conversly.. what is wrong with us?!?
