Isn't it funny how the biggest losers are the biggest braggers on this board? I have been reading a lot of the posts and most of the people who talk about being these great players can't back it up. I will not mention names yet.........

I agree to a point....I find the egos of some of the people who play this game to be tremendous. I dont agree with people aways threatening me because they can kick my Butt at any second. I know I have a lot to learn, but I am looking foreward to the day when I can stand up against the bullies. I am learning TONS everyday and feel confident that I will soon be able to hold my own against some of the big players prbbly in a couple of months...but I will say this: I WILL NEVER BULLY PEOPLE AROUND AND NEVER BRAG ABOUT HOW I CAN KICK PEOPLES ASSES!!
I think some players should wake up and stop being so cocky, cuz they are just going to be picked on by the new generation of players which will emerge soon!

ya usually the same folks who stick to those empty servers that average 8 players per game, cause when they stick their neck out in a crowded game they get hacked off

Hey! I resemble that empty server remark and I think I should feel insulted. However, considering you're of the lesser gender, I have to consider the source of the comment.

You're close, but not close enough. The truth of the matter is your two "brains" don't equal half of ours!

All this inter-sex rivalry is getting us nowhere...we exist in a symbiotic relationship...no matter what gay's or lesbians might say....we do need each other

What world do you live on? All we -really- need is doner material. If we get with the program and start stockpiling that in the near future, we can move on the the eradication of the male population.

I know many excellent female mechanics.
I got my start with mechanics when I was 15-17 at my ex's bowling alley. I was the official "pin girl". AMF 82-80 pinsetters... eight of them... originally installed in the 1940s. My favorite thing to do after school was to spend the afternoon working on them and fixing them on the fly in the evenings when the leagues rolled in. Ah, those were the coolest days of my life, by far.
On of my bigger hobbies/loves these days are motorcycles. Dirt bikes on a off road course, crotch rockets on the open road... I do all my own maintenace on my bikes from oil changes to one complete motor rebuild. In the sport bike world there are numerous female mechanics who do the same thing I do... all their own maintenance, overhauls and rebuilding.

I grew up in rural Nebraska. Slaughter/packing houses don't bother me in the least bit. As for hunting, it doesn't bother me either. Although I haven't been hunting in over a year now, I'm a (somewhat) accomplished bowhunter. I also enjoy range time (my ex got me into target shooting). I don't own a rifle for hunting, but who knows, maybe one day if my interest in that area grows enough, I'll look into getting one.

Definitely just donor material.

this is not the norm...
How many? I worked in a bus garage for 15 years supervising union mechanics... I know of 5 excellent female mechanics.. I know 100 excelent male mechanics.

This is also not the norm. Im thinking most of the city gals would die off first, not only have they never had to slaughter their own food... I doubt they would sucsessfully be able it...
I am an avid Bow Hunter Myself... and as much as I shoot it is still tricky to be within that range and not spook the animal.
It also seems not many people like the tase of wild meat anymore, but this is with both sexes.

good lord yor are a resourceful woman. I would have to say 1 in 1,000 gals would have the skills you posses. however I happen to know that for men those skills are more around 1 in 20.

Actually, you have to agree that you do need us around for at least two reasons:
1. Who would you bitch at when you have PMS? After all, women know that it's just an excuse anyway, and wouldn't stand for it - leading me to my second point:
2. Who would break up the HORRIBLE fights that you would get into? I know of nothing more low-down, scary, and brutal as 2 woman fighting. At least with men, USUALLY, once they prove their point the fight is over. Women will gouge each other's eyeballs, rip off hair and skin, and generally not stop until the other one is mortally wounded... and then they will kick them when they are down.
Of course, this is all in jest (Except for that girl fight one- eeps)...

This is most likely because positions such as mechanics are predominantly held by men. It's not that women can't be good mechanics, its that most choose not to be. In a theoretical world where men suddenly became extinct, women could easily assume the standard male roles. The question would no longer be do they want to but rather do they have to? In such a theoretical world, they would have to.

I didn't grow up on a farm. I've never had to kill any livestock other than putting a chicken to the cutting block when I was like, 8 or 9 years old. I grew up in a town (albeit a small one), but with Kearney (the biggest party college town in Nebraska) only a hop, skip and a jump to the north, my life was far from that of a sheltered rural country girl.
It also seems not many people like the tase of wild meat anymore, but this is with both sexes.

I don't mind wild meat whatsoever. I don't go out actively looking for it or special order it, but if someone bags a deer, rabbit, coon, etc. and invites me for dinner, I'll definitely take the person up on the offer. All natural beef jerky is probably one of the most tasty little treats I could imagine.

I'm not resourceful. I just see something I want to try, or friends introduce me to something that looks fun. I try it, and if I like it, it becomes almost an obsession. My toys, my motorcycles, my rock climbing, my "combat" soccer league... these are not hobbies to me but rather die-hard obsessions.
