I had access to the forum for the BTT, I pissed off Hekate since I disagreed with her, I pissed you off because you say one thing and do another and I call you on it, and Hekate or you block my access to the BTT forum.

How exactly does that equate to not being banned?

If all you are here to do is cause trouble, I suggest you find somewhere else to do it, perhaps your jr high school has a web forum that you can go and harass your teachers and principle ... Not only is my message to Rick erased, because it does not agree with him, but MY AITVO ACCOUNT HAS BEEN BEEN BANNED FROM EIS WITHOUT ANY WARNING!

Great idea, snub your customers and expect them to continue to give you dollars. You should seriously rethink how you do business before your out of business. I know *I* won't be purchasing future EIS products if you don't have any intention of keeping your customers happy. How many dollars will you have to lose before you refocus and realize there's a time and a place for attitude, and your business isn't it.

I strongly urge every single one of you to draft an email to John Prichett showing your disgust, we are EIS customers! We are not to be treated like this!

Had nothing to do with the post not being in agreement with mine, it was a typical andrew wyatt forum post, a 4 word long personal attack with 3 of those words being vulgarities. This isn't the yahoo groups, if you want to post like a 13 year old do it there. You read the rules and agreed to them when you signed up for an account here, you need no further warning then that.

Feel free to send all the emails you like, take up as much of JP's time as you can for petty bickering (but mostly because Andrew has 0 influence so he throws a temper tantram) the only thing it does is keep him away from working on the game code, but since you don't even play Trade Wars andrew i guess that wouldn't make a difference to you. Get over it, this issue is dead and has been dead.

Sure, I read the rules and agreed to them, however since you aren't following them, why the hell should I or anyone else for that matter? If you honestly believe that I have zero influence, then you are sadly mistaken. Sure I don't play TW, I've never claimed to. I said that I'm an EIS customer, that gives me all the clout I need to put you in your place. It's not dead until Morgan is a satisfied customer, I don't really care what the hell you have to say about it. You are and always will be a has been, and as always you will continue to do more harm than good to EIS's product line.

You keep referring to customer service skills, I volunteer my time and run teamEIS which the forums and beta team are apart of. You are not a customer of mine, you paid nothing to have access to these forums, and no where in your software agreement for TWGS, Trade Wars or Gold does it even mention let alone guarantee access to the forums, in any fashion. I volunteer my time so that added features are available to people who are involved in Trade Wars, be it running a server or just a player. I paid not only for the door version but for the $579 HVS version, I am not an employee of EIS, I am just an involved game owner. I don't do this to pacify rude and petty people who think that $80 buys them a license to attack people if they don't do things exactly the way they want, so if that is where my "customer service skills" lack so be it.

I am not going to debate the issue with you, anyone who would like to see what you are truly all about need to look no further then any of your posts to the yahoo groups to get a gauge of the true you, Andrew. As far as me breaking the forum rules as with most of your comments it is completely without factual examples. These forums run on almost 0 moderation, because 99.9% of the people that use these forums are here to gain information and knowledge about Trade Wars. We don't have flame wars here, because there is no oxygen for the flames to survive. Don't get me wrong every once in a while a person wanders in here and starts berating people, be it another forum member or a moderator, but they never last long. and neither will you if you continue along these lines.

I know all about your contact with JP, if you think that gives you any influence over the way I run these forums, then it's you that is sadly mistaken. You have absolutely NO say (nor will you as long as I am involved)in the policies of teamEIS be it these forums, the beta team or any other part. The simple fact of the matter is unless he has access to the beta forum, he won't be satisfied, so I guess he won't be satisfied because he isn't getting access to it. He was asked to participate and refused. He claims he was banned from the forum because his access was taken away, well every member in the forum had access to the beta forum up until it was closed, closing a forum and being banned are 2 different things.

As with most of your forum posts you are once again completely without facts, of course that never stops a person who wants to be confrontational, and we both know why you want to be confrontational in public here don't we.

I'm about to bust a gut LOL! Get a life Rick, as long as you are affiliated with EIS in any way, (Wait, you said you aren’t? hmmm) you will be looked upon as an EIS representative. If you don't like that, perhaps you should change "teamEIS" to "team*NOT*EIS". You show a total lack of character in further attacking me, as well as a complete lack of professionalism. Concerning the claim that I have no fact to back my claim that you aren't following the rules, just read Abraxus's pages again a few times until you manage to see the parts that claim you will not keep anyone from the beta testers group due to dispute. Tell me Rick, I can still join right? After all, I've done more for TW's beta team than you ever will.

If John doesn't step in and take care of business, then he can just accept the fact that he has lost mine. It's really his call now, and none of your affair. You also claim to have nothing to do with EIS, so you can not approve or disapprove beta team members, so I'll leave that answer for John as well. I'm glad that you've made the claim that you aren’t part of EIS, it'll make our communication more effective in the future.

I never said I wasn’t affiliated with EIS, I said I am not an employee of EIS. Once again since you seem to be having a hard time understanding I run teamEIS, which among other things includes the forums and the beta team. Hekate is the lead beta tester, I appointed her, but she came up with the process of how to become a beta tester.

That’s your main problem; you get your facts from snippets of information on some web page. First re read the forum rules, you won’t see anything about the beta team, next realize this, the bottom line was Abraxus was asked to join the beta team; he refused to answer the questionnaire. He thinks that because he paid for the game he should automatically have access to the beta team forum and information, well that’s the way it was before, but it’s been changed. Of the over 1k members of the EIS forums probably 80% are TWGS owners, that doesn’t mean we are going to have 800 people in the beta forum. There are a lot of private forums in the EIS forum and being an owner of TWGS will only get you into 1, the SysOp / GameOp forum.

The thing is anyone can test for bugs (BETA TESTER), and send them into JP, no one has said that bug reports will only be accepted from the beta team. But this wasn’t about testing the game, it was about cart blanche access to private areas of the forum.

And sure you can join… fill out the questionnaire and send it to Hekate. If you don’t have a questionnaire I will make sure she sends you one.

It was always his call. I just know what call he will make. If by “take care of business” you mean remove me then I guess you should figure out where you are going to get your next version of TWGS or Trade Wars (if there is one), cause I am positive where he will come down on this issue.

What you and a few others seem to not understand is EIS is more of a hobby (or charity) then a business. If it were about making money I can say with complete confidence JP would have been gone along time ago. Threaten him with not buying his products or equating it to putting food on the table is silly. JP doesn’t make his living off TWGS, it barely pays for itself (if it even does considering the amount of hours he puts into it)

It doesn’t bother me though because having effective communication with someone like you isn’t real high on my priorities list.

Funny I have been doing it professionally for awhile now. I seem to be pretty good at it since I am the youngest Systems Analyst at the company I work for which has some 215,000 employee’s. But I will take your opinion and for what it is worth…

I manage the Application DEV and CPCMECH teams, the DBA's and SYSADMIN's report to me. so while you are looking for your next gig maybe calling the Systems (notice that's plural) Analyst a desktop boy isn't the quickest way up the ladder...
