Corp 7 and 10 both had their planets caped, as the rules are, if your planet gets capped and you cant get it back turn you lose, and must cby, so they did...once you lose a planet, it seems to me it would be very hard to find or even reclaim the planet...

I have a question for you tho, what if two corps are fighting it out, corp 1 captures corp 2's planet, corp 2 captures corp 1's planet, do they both lose, or is it a stale mate?? No pun intended...

they way I understood Vader if u lose "YOUR" King and don't reclaim it, ur out

Correct. You can lose someone else's and you're fine. Its YOUR King that matters.

Corp 3 is now out as well. Late last night after bringing our CEO back in from being dead all day after his sad attempt to invade corp 4 in a black knight (which has no pod). We flipped Acid Reign red to deal with some serrious cash flow problems, and Castor furbed what little turns he had. The plan had been to pod him once and keep him fed safe (he was sitting at like 996 or something like that). What I hadn't realized, was that the "other pawn", the one you come in with after being dead, has no pod. My appologies to Lio, who was playing Jonas, and to Baited who hadn't made it in yet but was going to be playing as Acid Reign. Good game everybody, but I'd made too many silly mistakes to keep up.

Gemini, been counting the seconds bro, figured after you and your boys cbyed that you guys were pretty much out of it anyway. Good game man, and hope to see you in the future during such events as Chess:Road Trip!

not sure if it was death limit, but it *might* have been cheaper to get him under 200 align, have him swear at grimy to lose half xp, then get his commish back.
course, i dunno edits or settings, so i may be way off.
(course it's got to be better than killing yourself in a ship with no pod, hehe)

Well, we had a nice new shiny flagship for him to jump back into, so I figured since the pawn wasn't going to be usable as a furb (only 10 holds instead of the 100 it starts with if you buy one) it might be the way to go, but lesson learned, if it looks like a scout it's probalby a scout, despite what your edit sheet might tell you. lol

ok, screw a dupe setting... lets have one with 4 real peeps... question is with Vader's going down soon, who will host it ?

Assuming everyone in the game is all 4 of their dupes, this game is supposed to a true test of true experince, I mean, having to run attack/build/cash, all aspects of the game, you get a test of what you truly know about the game. I mean Ender on buydowns and red support, Hot Soup on the grid, and colos, Carn and FLY on the mega robs and sdt, Darn man, i'm being tested on all aspects. So it seems a game like this is a true test of power, wits, and skill..

However, I would like to see a similar game with same edits with no dupes allowed...would be a treat.
