I work second shift 3-11PM Central and can be at keys from probably 9A-2P central and 12A-3/4A Central. icq is in my profile I believe.

Maniac is a good guy to have on your team, (most of the time, when he's not making fun of me) If anyone needs an extra player, get with him, he'd be a good corpie to have.

well, was fun while it lasted it's good to know that i can hop in a game and affect the game still.

What it is not over yet, is only the second day for crying out loud! If Slim is bailing out on us, then we could use another Corpie... if Zoso say it is ok, that is.

sorry dude, but smokey took charge, and smokey doesn't know what he is talkin about.
i know a losing corp when i see one.
on day 2, if you have like 50k creds, no figs, no ships, no reds... you lose.
it's all about the start.
here is what happened:
i join game, zoso is at dock traded in for a mustard, smokey is in a spy ppting.
i think ok, this is going well.
i get to dock, trade in for a mustard.
i buy 40 figs, and kill someone.
i have like 31 figs left.
smokey tells me to trade in my ship for a spy and go ppt (he has 800 turns left)
i tell him to come trade me the ppt ship and i will go ppt.
he says no (though he doesn't move, or ppt)
(also he was NOT laying figs down)
so i explain *why* we should trade the ppt ship rather than buy another, and he says "zoso said to do it"
i say, um no he didn't (he is afk, he had something to take care of)
then i believe gunslinger logs in, gets to dock, and smokey tells him to trade in for a spy and ppt.
i tell him not to.
he does it.
des fox hits my figs, i pop him and get all of his ppt cash.
i buy up figs, surround dock, and wait for something to move.
something moves, i kill it.
rexx logs in.
smokey tells him to trade in for a spy and ppt.
i say omfg.
rexx does it
rexx gets capped.
smokey then tells me to go walk rexx to the dock (even though i had already laid figs down, and it was safe)
smokey finally gets back to dock and see's i have it surrounded.
he says (i kid you not) something along the lines of:
"slim has the dock surrounded, we should get a red and ssm"
at this point i am searching for a gun to shoot myself, fortunately, someone else moved so i got to kill them.
at this point i decided, ok, i'm going to go play wow instead...
i have no problem playing with newbs.
i have a problem playing with newbs who do NOT listen.
if smokey had just run his turns ppting, by the time the next person logged in, we would have been able to send him red immediately.
by the time zoso got back, we would've prolly been on our 2nd red, possibly our third, and i would have probably been able to get a few more kills (preventing other corps from advancing)
i even logged in yesterday to see what was going on, and we had one red (dead) and another corpie dead, not to mention no creds, no figs, and like 2 ships.
(meanwhile i see traitor with -18k align)
fyi, that means game over for our corp.

but you will never see a lvl4 planet.
you will probably never even sdt.
but you go ahead and give her a whirl.
seeing as how no one listens, i don't see why though, it's not like you are going to learn anything and become better players.
if you *LISTEN* then maybe it would be worthwhile to keep playing only so you could *LEARN*
but since that won't happen, continueing to play is a moot point.

im sorry if you think i am just walking away, but tough, i don't like wasting my time.
