ONLY COMMISSIONED OFFICERS are allowed to fly F-16's there are two models of this plane a single seat, and a 2 seat version followed, now if you flew the single seater that means you are a certified Fighter pilot which is the ONLY way you would fly this plane... or maybe you flew in the Two seat version that REQUIRES a CERTIFIED fighter PILOT and a CERTIFIED RIO, (Radio Intercept Officer)both of these positions take YEARS of training to get qualification.... Now lets say that DO have the Quals for EITHER of these positions.... Then why are you still an E-6???? because you are lying thats why, LOL!!! took a ride in an F-16, ROFLMAO!!!

Darn, I wasn't going to look at this crap anymore. BTW he can get incentive flights in the two seater, and if he knows pilots, can do it up to twice a year at the right bases. Most NCO's have college degrees, especially the older one's (over ten years, I was going for my masters before I got out) and people stay in the service, more for job satisfaction rather than the money, and I thank them for that. If you think about it, most important jobs are lower paying, Police, Military, Teacher, Medical. (Off my soap box now)

Money isn't everything, materialism can hurt you if used improperly. Many people have noble professions that pay low wages, Teachers, Police Officers, Fire Fighters, the Military, Nurse's Aides, etc. The only reason they stay at their jobs is that they love what they do. They contribute to society in a way that a high paying position wouldn't. I have much respect for people like that.

I have one degree in data processing with the programming option and I am going back to college to get a business management degree. I've seen my share of high salaried but poor quality managers and I decided to become a better one than the ones that I worked with. Or maybe start my own business. I used to make $60,000USD a year as a Programmer/Analyst but the IT jobs are going away, to overseas, to the lowest bidders. So instead I am becoming a manager.
