No the question has never been ask if someone else is willing to host, she was asking a question in general not for someone to step up and offer. Bud said he was going to ask Rev, that is the only question still pending.
The question was answered if beta or not, really what is your point here? Are you offering to host?

I was assuming by your response that you were lettting Bud know which servers were running beta, therefor is seemed that you weren't sure if he was still looking or not. It's great how you know exactly what Bud wants without even having talked to him first. So it's very likely that Bud is unsure at this point where this tourney will be hosted. rev's server would be a great choice, beta or not.

BTW, I realize that Toyland won't be hosting it since it will no longer exist, therefor it doesn't matter if it's running beta or not.

I was only reading what was posted and not trying to read more into it than what was actually ask. But thanks for your input. Plus you have no idea if I have talked to bud or not, do you? Not everything is posted openly, some things are sent via PM that are not for every ones eyes.

Actually we reverted us back to the non-Beta. Too many issues and conflicts at the time with the beta version.

Yes, I agree with the conflicts and issues. So basically that leaves ICE 9 as the only active server running the beta twgs.

But my thoughts are with the reason for playing this game, it's a Tribute to SG, and I know SG was a great supporter of the Beta and trying to get it more play time. That's all.

I just think it would be cool to maybe play the latest beta on twclassic in SG's honor. Nothing against rev.

And Big D is right, I'm not an organizer, just a player who's still sad that I won't ever get a chance to play with or against SG again.

not smack, but I am curious if there are really peeps out there that will wait for a 90's validation phone call in order to play. With so many other options out there (no disrespect intended, I am seriously curious) why would anyone do that?

I am curious as to why you need sysop privilages in this forum since your TWGS is obviously not for the public, and notices of rebangs in a public forum apparently aren't needed. However I suppose that would be another topic, and won't discuss it any further in this thread.

I think the last legitimate post before the derailment was a discussion about what server it was going to be held on and Bud had posted that it will probably be held on rev's server if he agree'd.

Also Bud. You can put my name in the hat as a replacement. (Meaning if someone that signs up can't play at the last minute)
