 Re: TWCON 2008
Do we have a time of day and location at Harrah's? Might be kind of hard to find people we don't know there and I an only imagine the looks we would get asking, "Are you Space Ghost?" - probably get a ride in a car with flashing lights tho, and a nice room with padded walls. I don't think the jacket that they would give would fit very well, sleeves would probably be way too long and be tied in the back making eating dinner kinda difficult.
I am still a "probably" since my wife is trying to get me to go to OKC instead to attend a wedding on Saturday. Depends on if it appears I will be sleeping on the couch if I go to KC.

 Re: TWCON 2008
Sparrow is a friend of mine for over 14 years. He lives close to me actually. Like 10 miles.
If he 100% says he is going, I might try and tag along. If I can get a sitter.
I will be the guy with the Ore Whore TShirt on

 Re: TWCON 2008
TW Con was a blast. With the sole exception being having to drive around with t0y as the navigator. That guy and his GPS had us driving back and forth, busting u-turns, speeding away from police helicopters down the wrong side of the highway; it was ridiculous. A crackhead prostitute couldn't have done a worse job.

I must admit you are correct, but no reason to blame the GPS...I mean come on who requests a GPS to find Midgets, Donkey Farms, Goat Roping or Trannies at 2am.... (shudder). I did the best I could..... It was good time more people should attend these since you really have no idea who the other people are on the other side of the monitor.

 Re: TWCON 2008
I concur. i was expecting at least a twcon.com website. With attendee photo's. Blog's a plenty. Downloadable .wav files of the keynote speakers. Flash presentations of the forthcoming upgrades to TWGS. More flash presentations showing the latest killer scripts.
Even better.... Gossip on who got too drunk slept where with who. with photo's obviously.

I sent the photo's I took just waiting on them to be posted....pester SG Gossip....thats funny.. we ate dinner after chatting for a bit.. chatted some more.. headed downtown to check out the local scene.. I had 3 beers which is 3 over my limit and tried to help a California driver make his back to the hotel. But he was not a very good driver and kept making silly requests.....see above post.
