Slim is right tho, those awards were never really about the game. I mean how can you accurately judge who has gotten better, or worse over the year?

and who is keeping notes for the awards anyways? No I second the motion of retiring the awards to there rightful place: Oblivion.

The awards have never been right, they have ALWAYS been a popular contest. If you look at it that way, whats the big deal. Ever since they began its been the same... But no i think we should keep them, they are apart of tw tradition.

A part of tradition, but who ran them? who started them? they're all long gone.
If you look at past awards, they were generally decently accurate.
Ask most people who played in 00-02 who they feared in a game, and you get the same list of 3-5 names, who are probably on the awards, 02-04 it started to get iffy, but still, generally accurate as to the people nominated, past that, it's just silly cause no one was around to really care for them. and it became garbage.
And no i don't play twars, yet i will steal a line from traitor here.. i've forgotten more about tradewars that you have ever known.

Lol thats what I tell my subordinates at work all the time. I have forgoten more then you will ever know.

everytime you say it you have to pay traitor a dollar... atleast, thats what he makes me do..

Meh. It's also always been a popularity contest. Some of the names on those old lists didn't become fearsome until AFTER they won awards. lol.

I couldn't play at any kind of competitive level without my website. My IP is always in the top 10.
