and for the record i am also a sysop, as well as a scripter in both twx and zoc. with over 17 yrs playing this game. so plz take ur personal dislike of me due to akors defective memory and buzz off.

there are 3 people on my "do not corp with" list (course, 2 dont play anymore, where did MB and smokey go? )
i will be the one... in charge ? of the draft so will make any inconsistancies known if they come up so as to not cause problems.

this is why i dislike draft games.

i kinda threw this together to try and just get a fun, regular game going, rather than a crazy unlim turn edit, or a 50 man corp game.
this game will be good for the newer players to see what a regular game is like. normal sized corps, standardish edits, and many opponents.
it's rare outside of tournies to get a game with many corps to do battle.

right now, if anyone thinks that they can't play in this game w/o having some fun, please icq me or post to withdraw your name.
if you can have fun, please, come in, the water is warm.
i by no means am saying, don't let the fed smack flow.
however, if you can't do it for the fun of the game, and instead do it with cruel intentions, then go elsewhere.
i want to have fun, and i want others to have fun also.
i want just one game to go to completion w/o any controvercy or drama.
if anyone has problems they feel they can not resolve on their own, please feel free to come with me and we can work towards a solution.


FYI, rat has dropped out, and piyath can only play weekends, so we still need 2 more people (or 3 people willing to drop)
if need be, i will.
if nothing changes by tomarrow night, i will try to come up with a fair way of doing the draft so teams will still be fair.

Slim you just said the key words, lets have fun and enjoy the game, I for one would like that for all, and see you all fight it out to your best, and may the best corp win, and remember this, no matter who is on whose corp. It is how well you can intergrate that will help the corp to win, even a corp where all players don't agree normally, can pull it together and be a cohesive game machine and whoop butt. Well enough from me, I hope you all get to have some fun, and learn new tricks from each other and make (hopefully) new friends and corpies!

As for the original reason of this thread, I have the basics of the edit done for the main game, and waiting till the initial draft is done to get what I need for the server and I wish you all luck in the draft phase. So lets have a good draft game all. Yeah, baby!!!

Might be your loss in both cases Akor...heard complaints and compliments about both of them and not corped with either but have played against them. Man, seems like ppl are too picky. "I wont corp with this guy or that guy". Unless they backstabbed ya i dont see the problem. Everyone's got a different personality, and even though i have never played in a game of this style it seems to me that bending a little and learning to get along with ppl would be a big step in playing well. I for one have no problem corping with any one at all, as long as they can teach me somthing heh.

Zentock only wanted to know the players that one wouldn't want to corp with not the reasons why. There are NO players in this game I wouldn't want to corp with. I know most, and have played in games with the others. There are only some of the CEOs I would take exception to playing with. Orginally, I was supposed to have been a CEO, but Slim kept getting ICQs saying I wouldn't be qualified. As a CEO, there would be NO players I wouldn't like in my corp. As a player though, if I must give the reasons, here they are:

That was Graz. He withdrew me from his corp because of one mistake I made and didn't tell me he was going to nor appologise for it. I'm afraid he would do it again.

That was Zentock. In the BYOC game he didn't know how to get from Terra to dock with figs in the way. He also told me several tips in a chat that upon verifying, has proven false.

Now, I suppose Speed Demon needs to tell the reasons he wouldn't want to corp with Stockton nor Coke.

but Darn!...............This post immediately followed mine in which I had declared that I was indeed a CEO. I didn't ask Slim last night as to who the 50 messages came from trying to get me off of the list but possibly it was from the same person. Dono though. Just the evidence seems fishy here.
