hello and welcome, first, i would like to say, in the smack talk area, talking about the best, no one had a best smack talker (unless i am mistaken) id like to vote for myself, for even when i am in a pod lookin dead on at res with his interdictor and big ship, i still talk crap or "smack" as the layman calls it. also, col sanders, ive been playing now for.. (what year is it) 11 years or so, just never got a "perma corp" or anything to back me up, i consider myself not a bad player, its just most games i play, i have to look for corpmates, and by the time i find some, 1 or 2 perma corps are dominating the game and we stand no chance. id like to volunteer for your "training" that you offered to bohemian. i do appreciate all help all of the "leets" give to those of us non-"leets". for instance, res, some people dont like him, but a few months ago, i was talkin to him wonderin why people were so much faster than me, and he told me about twx, i got it, and it was confusing at first and he walked me completely through it. thank you res, and no matter what other people say about you, ill still kill ya in one of these games

Someday there will be a girl who's elite... Rave is Elite in her own mind, an all, but hopefully someday there will be an elite player or at least one of them... rare to find.
I'd still like to hold a tournament to see who really can be elite anyways. heh.
Kemper is just in a class of his own, sexist I dunno, he does hold a point there is no elite women at this time.

I'm an all-around and all-American elite player. Not just in my own mind. I'm good. I'm Darn good. I am the best evil player. I may not be a great killer, but I am the best evil. By far, and without exception.

Good luck to whoever tries to set up a solo "elite" game. Colonel Sanders had one last year, but the turnout was pathetic compared to the number of "brand name players" that are out there.

He's just a sexist pig. I'm elite, thank you very much. Always have been, always will be.

You can talk all the smack you want, but since you claim to be retired, there really is no point. Its like your a toothless tiger thats all. All ferocious but nothing to back you up. But as far as I see it, you may not see it, but I do, I would say there is no top elite girl out there yet. There will be one day soon hopefully.
Kemper is just a unique sexist pig in a class of his own, simple as that. Why not brag a bit, if its a male dominated game, its not like you can pod him easily, it probably be the other way around haha. right Rave?
I heard about Col.Sanders Game last year, it was a poor turnout, but hopefully with right promo, n more, it will do well. Takes time to learn.

Retired or not, I'm still the best red player around. And I'll be the best for a long time to come. I have no need or desire to prove that point to anyone. And a large number of people would likely disagree with my self-assessment, but that's fine. My ego leaves more than enough room for outside criticisms.

In a head to head battle, Kemper would toast me. He's a good killer. I'm not. (Again, this goes back to how there are so many different things in this game that you can be the best at.) On the flip side, if it was just me and Kemper in a game, and I was able to avoid a direct ship-to-ship confrontation, he wouldn't stand a chance. Give me a low turn game with a half hour to an hour daily time limit, and there are very few people that would stand a chance against me. (If someone can't run a thousand turns in under an hour, they have serious problems, because I can easily do it by hand, including PPTing by hand.)

If the right game with the right settings were banged and there seemed to be enough interest in such a game, I might come out of retirement for a couple weeks to toast all the lamer boys out there that dared to show up. Unfortunately (or fortunately, as the case may be, since I really don't have the time) that will never happen, so it's not something I need to worry about.

sweet cyanide, i have heard that from basically everyone, there is no 100% top player so far.
camaro, its odd, hearing retiring from a computer game, i have heard of ppl retiring form everything but a computer game, maybe computer industry but it is soo odd.
rave, its rather impossible for me to think that your 65, since bearin in mind that you just got married. I thought there were two raves, a lisa wilson and a lisa cutler, two scary people who think their #1 but they are also retired... odd. oh well.
Xide by far is pretty good as I have heard so far. But as for who is the #1 player, there is no #1 at this moment, only people who are pretty damned good.

how can someone be the best "player" if they are retired and, in fact, not playing anymore? is there such thing as "best retiree"?
i used to be a (relatively) great player back around 1990. i started playing again maybe a week ago...i'm not as good now as i was then. i hate you duckman.
mmm...bacon
wow, 13 buffy avatars but no calvin & hobbes, thats sad.
