hmmmm...The canadian military may not be big..but then again our population is 22million...why the hell would we need a huge military for so few people. They tried to recruit 10000 people this year, they failed miserably, we only got 5000 nad out of that only 3000 passed their basic training. We have a small, but well trained military, our snipers just came back from an international competition in the U.S. and we took home 1st, 2nd and 5th place in the world. Not to mention our Airforce wins the competitions every 2 years. The only thing we really need in Canada is a god Navy, and we have it! Our nave, tho not nuclear powered is one of the best in the world.
Just for y'all's information

All women have the abilities, but it's societies sterotypical roles that put men and women into certian expectations of what we as men and women should and shouldn't which then after enough time, should and shouldn't is construed into can't. Not knowing how, and not be able to do something is two different things. A woman might not know how to change a flat tire, but she does have the ability. Once taught, any woman can accomplish anything.

ROFLMAO, man bout fell out of my seat on that one. Yeah, what is Canada's dollar at right now. I know I can take 1$ up there and get $1.50 Canadian. So that's what .50 to the american dollar.

No I think he needs math classes... if $1 Us is $1.50 Canadian then what he ment to say was that the canadian dollar is 66.7 pct or .67 of the American doller.. or for every .67 US you get a Buck Canadian..

I remember the times, as a kid, when it would save money to drive across the border to go grocery shopping, now, I have to save up for 2 years if I want to go on vacation down in the U.S. But thats ok, now, I can laugh at all the americans ligning up at the canadian border on fridays, all this while I cruise through your boarder.
Our dollar may be low, but we make good money on you guys coming up here to spend your cash!!

Hey.. I can remember going down to florida in february... and all I see is Canadians on the beach and in the water ..which was a brisk 65 degrees BTW.. too cold to swim in for most americans but it seems that the polar bear club must have originated in canada as they think they have found a nice warm ocean....

I just came from florida....it was planned as the cheapest vacation ever....unfortunately, due to car troubles and the exchange rate, it would have been better for me to go to Dominican or Mexico. Heh, I won't make THAT mistake twice.

I went to Miami in December of 1995. The water was nice and hot, even on December 31 and Janurary 1. Mind you that even I went swimming on those two days, and I live in Atlanta. It wasnt too bad.
