Now crazy guy i could be mistaken here but here is the latest game we played in. We started on the 7th at 9 pm at which time you were already in game i believe. This was a full 24 hours after bang when we entered game. If you look real closely at number 11 i think you might see somthing familiar. LOL. You dominated a game? Dont be silly. You cannot even play when there are only 14 players of which only a handful arent newbies. So please dont come on here talking about how you did this or that and how bad we are when the ONLY game you have ever played in against us we completely dominated in about twelve hours.

That is too Funny BC. This was a 25000 trns game by the way ROFL. Does that make me good Gyp since it was turns and this game is based on trns right?? I think BC said enough so i leave it at that.

Lets see here. I was only on that page for all of 10 minutes checking out all of the ship edits. If I had decided to play, perhaps you wouldnt be in the position your in now. BTW, I'm still waiting for you to come to coastgames and shut me up. Guess your all smack and no action.

Laff...i went to coastgames. Looked at all four games. Funny thing was that since you had "Won 8 or 9 games there" i expected you to be at the top. Oops. You were in all four games and losing them all. Please spare me the talk about how good you are. Send me the link of ANY game you are currently winning please. Then show me ONE time that you have won an unlimited. I dont really think you can. I guess that you are just unlucky since anyone can win an unlimited. When you put one game on lockdown in a day let me know. Till then please shutup.

I find it strange that you actually associate experience points with winning/losing. This just shows how much you dont know about the game... The key to winning/losing is to have all the chit and kill all the competition..

Why have a turn limit at all since you would never be able to use 1000 turns in an hour. I have to agree with the more experienced players here.. peeps who dont know how to play, play these games. Unfortunatly it is all the newbs that are drawn in to these games and they meet with frustration of too quick of a game.

I tend to agree with CFG And Cfposi. Winning is not just about exp and alligntment. If thats all you go by then you lead a pretty sad existance in the Trade Wars Universe.

Zandramus, you saying what you said actually shows how little you know about an unlimited game. But of course you are a turns player so it would be unfair of me to assume that you would know anything about them. When an unlimited game is more than a day old and you are still in a cruiser then yes you are LOSING. Period. If i am in that game and you are still in your cruiser after a day you have no chance to win. That is all i meant. I do agree that there are lots of times that newbs come directly to an unlimited game and get dusted off. Then when they whine i kindly explain that they should seek out a turns game that is a tad more tame. Whether it is an unlimited or not has no bearing on skill. I dont know how many times i can stress that to you. IT IS A DIFFERENT GAME. With the exception of the elite players, and there are a bunch of them, i will put my killing ability up there with anyone. And loki and turok are better at it than i am. That is what an unlimited teaches you to be good at. No, it isnt as complex a game as a turns game and i realize that. But it is more fun to me. I am tired of debating whether unlimited players have any skill. They do, it is just a different kind of skill. One on one zandrumus with equal figs i would put my money on turok everytime against you. He might not be as good at acquiring assets in a turns game as you are but one on one he would kill you. That is my opinion. And if you cant read a post and see the sarcasm, dont waste time responding to it as you did to lokis.

Now, again posi. Funny you should mention that. I seem to play against the SAME people over and over. There are two distinct subcultures of twars. The turns guys and the unlimited guys. I see you in almost every game i play in. Same with Wildstar. Used to be the same with Hale, PHX, etc. And every game we "outluck" you, since we all know that none of us have any skill. If you dont like to die, play in a turns game. It is always the turns people who get on and whine about killing the first minute of a game. If you dont like to kill you shouldnt play in an unlimited unless you can find one like alienbase where building is important. Anyway, posi, until you outluck me at a game please dont criticize. If you ever do that then you can talk smack.

You guys all frighten me... what the most amount of post's here that any of you have is what 11.. you are all new'bs that dont know how to play. I could take what I know about how to make money in a turns game and domionate an unlimited game.. However since I stated in my last post that new'bs and wannabee's play in those types of games where would be the fun in that.

Let me clue you in. If my corp doesnt all have big ships full of fighters in the first hour to hour and a half of a turns game i would say we arent following the plan.. in an unlimited game i just cant imagine how much money I would be making after the first hour.. yes i can about 1 million per 100 turns. which by the way is the sam amount i am making in a turns game.

You guys wouldnt stand a chance. you kill with scripts, you turn on your ssm scripts and let them run... man you wouyld be nothing but a target to me.

You dont think I can kill, you obviouly havent played against me before. bunch of Darn limpet picking toll fighter killing targets is all you would be. Oh and then we would here you wine about how people are either picking on you or cheating.

this is why I dont play in unlimited games, cause there is no competition there. I graduated to a game that is more challenging to play against the more challenging players, you are still stuck in TW Preschool.

Hey, I don't claim to know everything about the game. The last time I played was back in version 1.03d. I may have played a few turns in a 2.x game, but not more than a few because the board I was playing on had to shut down due to financial reasons, and I didn't know of anyplace else to play at the time. Now, however, the game is finally getting some decent play out there.

What I'd like to see is a version of the game accessible via a webpage, prolly via some sort of CGI script. I say this because it is not possible to play from my work, and to play from school is also mostly not possible. Either way, it would certainly shut down those script monkeys, and make them really consider what they are doing before they just take off running one of their scripts again.

Now that's what takes real skill. The only helper I ever used way back in the day was one called Traders. It simply took a raw capture file of the data coming across, and break the new data out and update the sector information and whatnot. It then produced a printout for you. You literally had to run a new printout every time, because if you didn't, you ran into trouble.

I don't claim that it takes no skill to write the scripts, or that it takes no skill to decide when to use the ones you have, but it certainly doesn't take as much skill to use a set of pre-written scripts that cover every situation than it is to run on your own, with no scripts.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean the world's not out to get you.
