And as I've proven that figure isn't even close to accurate. On the average most v2 servers have around 4 players. Your server has less of course. Also, this isn't a topic comparing v1 to v2, this is a topic to find out how many players there are that visit this forum. Please stay on topic.

You might want to change the poll question and the title then since neither are related to the number of people who visit the forum. Maybe YOU should, please, stay on topic. LAFF And btw, all that you have proven is there are more players playing on private v2 servers than play on v2 servers listed publicly. (Good job making JPs point)

You haven't proven anything. You merely suggested a possible source of error in JP's figures... one which he may have already accounted for.

All this proves is that more people are playing TW today on private NOT public servers. And, they don't visit this forum.

A number was given reflecting the number of unique players that v2 is reporting - what does that add to this thread since it is not about how many players play v2 or how many players play v1.03 or HVS whatever? The OP was about none of the above, nor was it about the accuracy, or lack of, in regard to v2's reporting. The number I see relevant to this thread and shown in the poll is currently 18 which is a far cry from 5,846.

"How often do you play Tradewars?"

The question was posted in "THIS" forum, so if you add 2 + 2 it still adds up to 4 unless your math equation is different than everyone elses.

So please feel free to move on with your antics to a new thread with any question you prefer. This is a thread about how many players are left in "THIS" forum, and from the looks there aren't many people from this forum that actually play.

So all the players from this forum are now playing on private servers? The way I read the poll there are only 7 active players left from this forum. Also it's very hard to believe that there are even 580 active players left in the world, let alone 5800.
