This is still tourney mode, 10 deaths RP said. No need for scores to find with winner, last one standing. I know there's only 3 of us who have shown an interest, but like Micro said, that's just the 3 of us who are admitting to it.  There's some interest on the facebook page, so who knows. I do like T0yman's idea about upping the turns a bit for smaller teams, instead of singles, let's go with teams of 3. This way we'll have room to take in some new and returnings and help them.

I can make the 3 man change to the corp limits if you guys want teams. I'll be gone the rest of the afternoon, but should be back before game starts, so any last minute changes can be discussed and put here.

I've already changed corp size to 3 but lowering the turns in a 30k universe seems like it will make a LONG game. I'm thinking even with the 3 man teams of 3000 turns. With the time limits in place and the fact that a lot of our veteran players are sayin they will not be here, it might ease the load on some newer blood. Asking what you think.

Sounds fine to me, I am planning on playing solo so corp size is not much of a concern  I will just wander around until someone finds me. I have not played a single game since April so odds are I will have problems making a planet....lol

Less than 45 minutes till start.
My teamspeak address changed on me, so I've now updated my signature with the correct information. I strung a cord across the room and plugged the TWGS computer into my other APC unit, meaning the short power outages shouldn't affect the server any longer. Combining them all on one unit means I have about 3 minutes of run time, but it should cover the short outages I seem to have been experiencing lately. If I have to take the server down for any reason I'll do my best to post it here in advance. (I can't account for some things like power or internet issues)
I want to remind all players this is a game, it's meant to be fun.
Be kind to your sysop, and good luck to all.
